Wartin Gulf
Reaching south between the Troll's Finger and central Tarien, the Whartin Gulf is always cold. Filled with schools of fish year round, and ringed by colonies of seals that feed on them, only the southern portion of this gulf stays ice free in the winter. Like the Great North Sea with whom it shares its waters, summer brings long days, plankton blooms, and great pods of whales. The whales provide a source of food and rare oils for the residents of Wargun who sail the gulf in long, single masted ships.
