West Haven
Much like its kindred in name - East Haven, West Haven is a bay formed by the Darin Peninsula where the Mali River, the Chestnut River, and the Wartin Gulf meet. Unlike its sibling, however, the bay is more than a simple cove. Its large mouth and deep draft allow for larger - though not as large as the massive whaling vessels one finds at Seal Island - ships to dock. This allows one to find large sea going fishing vessels and the occasional Gartchan merchant ship around the Peninsula. Further along the bay one finds shipyards and a large naval base that all but three of the city's largest longships call home. The bay has long since been expunged of fish, the waste of the city fouling the waters and often leading to flotsam that offers a hazard to any incoming vessel.
