Talbourne River
The white capped rapids of the Talbourne River, as it flees the Andorran Mountains mountains northward on its rather direct route into the Eldorian Sea at Phelandria make it one of the fastest waterways on Tarien. Filled with sharp turns and waterfalls tat dive dozens of feet, the river is wholly unnavigable by most species of fish let alone Humans. Some of the quieter sections boast small schools of trout, and the otters and egrets that pray upon them, but for the most part the river simple serves as a water source to those through which it passes. Its most impressive feature, the massive 300 foot torrent of water that flows an iridescent red after the city was destroyed in 580 AC.
