South Lake
South Lake is one of the twin lakes that provide water to the great rivers on the Island of Eldoria. Located in the eastern portions of the rounded and well wooded Andorran Mountains, the lake is narrow, deep, and long. It runs generally west to east and once was home to great schools of mountain trout and striped bass though long Human habitation has generally fished the waters free, leaving only the smallest to swim in its murky depths. Few from Krellia, the town that sprawls along its northern banks, use the waters for drinking, bathing, and washing, preferring instead to dig wells that tap into the aquifers endemic to the region.
