Selkirn River
Flowing westward from North Lake, through massive canyons in the Andorran Mountains, the Selkirn River travels the center of the Island of Eldoria before depositing its waters in the Sea of the same name. Its journey begins with crisp, trout filled waters as it cuts through the rocky shores and deep gulches of the mountains. With little burden upon its waters by the humanity that has covered the rest of the island, it grows in width and depth as it continues westward, through the scattered farms and pine forests of western Eldoria. Well before it reaches Eldarin, however, its banks become choked with mills, inns for constant boat traffic, and the small hamlets that naturally seems to gather around them. Its color becomes stained a murky brown before it reaches Garth, and some have claimed to simply walked across it near Karradone, the clutter from wrecked ships and great's city's discards. Eventually its deposits sediment, refuse, and of course, its water in the Mouth of Eldoria before merging seamlessly with the sea.
