Dawnlight
Anyone who has watched Anderi rise over the Cliffs of Talbourne, bathing the Market Table in bright morning light, especially after spending the smalls hours face pressed into cold cobbles with just the hint of ale on their breath just might question why Phelandrian's celebrate the dawn. For everyone else living and working in the city's western half, however, that low angled amber light has a quality found nowhere else. Laborer’s arriving in Clinkwell, ready to earn the day’s silver warm their hands in its golden radiance. Artisans set up tables and carts and blankets, angling their homespun good to take advantage of its softness. And fishermen use it as an hourglass, their signal to pull in their lines, return to Dockside, and peddle their catch. Dawn's light, fleeting as it ay be, brings the hope of a new day to the beating commercial heart of the city.
