Wedding: Shared History
This marriage ceremony is a simple and often relatively private one. It is a time of reflection, honesty, openness, and understanding between two people.
Over a period of time lasting between a few days to multiple months, the couple work together to write a book (or series of books) detailing their own histories and lives chronologically compared to and alongside one another. During the time of writing, various members of the couples' family will join in to write a few pages or offer insight and their views on various moments that they participated closely in.
After the book is completed up to the point at which the ceremony began, the couple will regularly add new pages and update the story with new and important moments they shared, such as the birth of children, new partners, or other moments which the couple deem important.
