Personal history
Buddy the rat was awakened by Nebula Apeflame, then promptly abandoned to his own whims. During the first 5 days of his new life, he was left to huddle and hide in the walls of the guard barracks in Kogzar, stuck in a hole of existential dread.
After this time, he was encountered by an adventurer named Soleil who had taken on the form of a rat. After convincing him to leave the wall and speak with her and her companions (The Unwise Sextet), he spent a number of days with them. During this time, he finally came to terms with his eventual death, and began to explore the side effects of being awakened by an Arch Fey.
Eventually he went with the group to Harridan's Mooring, where he volunteered to take the place of one of his party members and join with the Nightblossom Coven to help with his party's goals. During the process of joining them and growing in power, he was killed but brought back to life through strange hag magic. His soul is now trapped in the skull he wears which allows him to posess his own body through magic similar to, though distinct from, the magic jar spell.

Morality & Philosophy
- Ideal: Most of us will die eventually, so its important to make the best of the time we have.
- Bonds: Soleil and her companions showed me compassion when my own awakener abandoned me. The Nightblossom Coven has linked me to them and helped me grow through powerful magic I do not yet understand.
- Flaw: Though I've come to terms with my death, I'm still willing to do a lot to extend the time I've been given.
