Artificer Fabricanics
An artificer fabricanic is a piece of technology most often used by artificers to replicate magical effects. While they appear similar to a typical Archanic Technology, they are based more in mundane mechanisms rather than magics. The following list contains examples of such technologies.
Cantrip
- Booming Blade: A small creation that causes the weapon to give off a violent burst of sound upon impact.
- Fire Bolt: A small firearm that uses extremely hot energy to burn targets at range.
- Light: A thin paint or other fluid that can be applied to an object to cause it to glow.
- Spare the Dying: A rapidly crafted concoction that causes a target's heartrate to slow and wounds to seal.
- Alarm: a simple set of strings and bells that make noise upon disturbance.
- Cure Wounds: a small mechanical spider that rapidly sews cuts or applies salves to burns.
- Longstrider: a set of mechanical enhancements quickly applied to the legs that cause the wearer to move more quickly.
- Tasha's Caustic Brew: a vial of acid attached to a hose and firing mechanism used to spray said acid over long distances.
- Arcane Lock: a highly complex mechanism that binds objects together.
- Darkvision: a set of goggles or glasses that allow the wearer to see in darkness.
- Magic Weapon: an attachment that causes a faint field of energy to spread over the blade, tip, or shaft of a weapon, increasing its damage and ability to overcome the natural resistances of many creatures.
