Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded Character in Palimpsest | World Anvil

Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded

Hobgoblin goddess of recovery, trauma, endurance and homesickness.

Conscript Hodge , the Walking Wounded

Conscript Hodge, the Walking Wounded is the only survivor deity of the Goblin Pantheon. She is, and was, most frequently worshipped by hobgoblins, who were more likely to be recruited in the Palimpsest infantry than other Goblinoids.   Since the city was taken over by the humans, worshipping the Conscript is now is extremely illegal. Despite this, she is still secretly worshipped by some hobgoblins. Katib Fennec Jackalslicer seems to worship her entirely sincerely, while his mother Viziera Atkin Jackalslicer still observes the holy days.   According to the Jackalslicer Seneschal, Enfield Kelba, some hobgoblins, herself included, would choose to worship other deities in the Goblin Pantheon, but worship Hodge instead since she is the only one that still grants divine power.

Conscript Hodge's alignment is True Neutral, and her portfolio includes recovery, trauma, endurance and homesickness. Her cleric domains are Blood, Community, Death, Defense, Healing, Home, Loss, Madness, Memory, Resolve and War, and her favoured weapon is the Shortsword.
