Katiba Rouge Carterhold
Katiba Rouge Carterhold is the eldest daughter of Vizier Djann and Viziera Weaver Carterhold. Until recently, Rouge was the Subvizier of House Carterhold, but she was demoted to Katiba upon the birth of her younger (by twenty years) brother, Bedlah, who replaced her in the role. This was not the first time Rouge had been passed over for a male alternative: her first betrothal fell apart when her fiance, Katib Castor Stargazer, was revealed to have a secret boyfriend. Since her demotion (and sudden lack of responsibilities), Rouge seems to have rebelled somewhat. She now hangs out with Cody's Gang, which she has apparently taken a co-leadership role in. It is unclear at this point whether the gang is a bad influence on her, or whether she is a bad influence on them.

When she was still a Subvizier, Rouge obeyed her parents and avoided any romantic or sexual exploration. After her betrothal to Castor Stargazer fell apart, and her demotion to Katiba at the birth of her little brother, Rouge started "making up for it", with mixed results. She seems to have had a crush on Tyl'rr Do'urden, the Drow who ran the cage fighting arena in Barker's Menagerie and worked with Rouge's father. It's also possible she fancies Katib Cody Bakerstreet, although she'd probably punch anyone who suggested it.
Now that she's no longer constrained by the expectations of being a Subvizier, Rouge has no intention of becoming a parent. She is quite happy being the "cool aunt" to her nephew, and any other children that her siblings might have in the future.
Education
Rouge grew up very sheltered, under the strict tutelage of her parents. Her lessons involved a lot of Court Decorum, that she now considers useless.
More recently, she has also learned to be a pretty good Rogue from somewhere, able to sneak up on threats before they can overpower her.

Quince Darktusk-Carterhold: Growing up Rouge didn't get to know her little sister very well. Rouge had to tend to the duties of Subvizier, and by the time she was freed of that time-consuming burden, Quince had already married Subvizier Sheikh Darktusk, and moved to live at the Darktusk Estate.
