Personal History
Oryim claims to be a viscount from
Fatoris, and has proven to be deadly with knives. They seem to also let their sticky fingers and inquisitiveness get the better of them, though this has served the party well up to now.
Memories of Home
During
Session 6, when the party were looking for a way back to
M'orn, or to the other side of the Mitlind Mountains, they were told of a cave passage through the mountains that would let out near
Fatoris. Oryim expressed again that this was their home town, but that they hadn't been back there after they left as a child.
Who I Am
During
Session 9, Oryim told his alies that he is old royalty of Fatoris. However, after being defacto exiled from the town he joined the military in
Twinriver and fought in the Second Dossil War. He revealed that his real name was actually: Inchel Reinna Daedark III.
A Family of Traitors
At the conclusion of
Session 16 and the start of
Session 17,
The Mistress of Fatoris informed Oryim that it was highly likely that both his father Inchell II and his uncle Grimwalde were instrumental in orchestrating the Second Fossil War. The very same war that Oryim himself fought in.
The Nature of War
During
Session 22 Oryim and his companions found themselves in one of his memories. A vision from the Second Dossil War where
Morris Cove had invaded and were slaughtering farmers trying to defend their home. Oryim's companion,
Sam Calas, was a Morris Cove native, and explained that this was not what he was taught. The two discussed the nature of war and how conquerers often change the words used to describe events to appear more favourable. At the conclusion of their conversation Sam asked why, if Oryim wanted to help
Mitlind achieve freedom from their invaders, he turned tail and ran at the first sign that they were losing. Either because he couldn't or because he didn't want to; Oryim did not answer.
New Found Family
During
Session 23, Oryim was able to recognise the identity of
Kalydin's father. He identified the man as his uncle and the man that the Misstress believes orchestrated the second Dossil war. He realised that this would, in fact, make himself and Kalydin cousins.
