General Information
Located on the Western side of the Mitlind Mountains, on Mitlind's southern coast; Fatoris is a place that keeps mostly to itself. They have managed to maintain a self-sustaining economy by having access to both a port for trade, and a mine rich in silver.Government
Throughout it's history, Fatoris has had many different government structures. From self-sustaining monarchy to more recently a form of oligarchy. It seems that the governmental structure of Fatoris shifts with the whims of its leader, the ever enigmatic Mistress.
Guilds and Factions
Despite having a constantly shifting and volitile political system, Fatoris boasts some of the most highly accomplished lawyers and lawmakers in Laan. The Lawbook of Fatoris is infamously large, and constantly being revised as new laws are written near weekly.
The Lawyers of Fatoris organise themselves into companies who fight tooth and nail to secure contracts, in order to demonstrate their skills. Those that are particularly accomplished start their own firms or rise to take control of the one they already work within.
