Bones of Barokaz

"Most folks around here don't even notice the damn thing. It may as well be a mountain or a part of the river for them. I guess if you go in for that Demiurge stuff, it's as natural as anything else in this world."   ~Margrave Arronax Skinner, Elector of Cambreath

Purpose / Function

This is the final resting place of the Titan known as Barokaz, who fell to servants of the Demiurge in the aftermath of the Jerell. It's said that Agasyl herself unleashed a mighty blast that not only struck Barokaz down but also carved the Grasping River.

Architecture

The Bones of Barokaz are exactly what they sound like. The only part visible to the open air is the half buried skull, half petrified by its elemental nature and its extreme antiquity. Throughout the Undercity, various ribs and other bones are visible, with the Undertown Hall nestled in the hipbones.

History

The Bones of Barokaz have been in their location since before human existence in the area. Even the earliest known Grimhii texts attest to its existence.   Somewhere around the Year 90, Czhahyl were using the bones as a waypoint and defensive feature. By 98, a small settlement had built up around it. By 100, they were a focal point of military prowess and thus, hope for humanity.
