Government
Nominally, the streets vote to send electors to the neighborhood council, which votes to send electors to the district council. However, turnout is so low most years that the electors largely just vote on their own replacements.
Defences
A Sheriff runs the defense of the town with a few deputies and a Night Watch drawn from petty criminals.
Industry & Trade
The most common industry in the district is crime. The second most common is begging.
Assets
Granaries in this district are largely arranged in smaller, underground caches.
Guilds and Factions
The Murlynd Charitable Society has a kitchen in the area, and have been known to offer rewards for people who might be inclined to improve the area.
Numerous street gangs vie for control, with none able to rise to prominence over the others.
Points of interest
The Lewd Maiden - A tavern that caters to the poorest patrons.
Tourism
Nobody comes to the district on purpose. Those going by the north road tend to move with all speed.

The district is a shantytown, with a combination of scrapwood walls and canvas tents.
