Somercrag Royal Fleet
The Royal Gull, the first official ship of the Somercrag Royal Fleet and its Flagship* was launched as part of the festivities of Tourney at Southbay 443KS as a gift to King Tyon I Cray from Duke Allon Southbay.
In the following decade the construction of the Fleet was a joint effort of the Duchies of The Kingdom of Somercrag, especially House Southbay of Southbay and House Blackbar of Castle Blackbar whose friendly rivalry to provide the greatest contribution to the fleet was no doubt a significant contributor to its size.

History
The first significant deployment of the Royal Fleet was in the spring of 448KS as part of the Rescue Effort launched to rescue those affect by the erruption of The Boxsart Hills in 448KS. They spent the next year making multiple trips between The Hurst Channel and settlements up and down the coast of Somercrag, bringing food, water and other supplies to those affected, and resettling those who were willing to leave in
In March of 455KS several Hillhurst-folk left The Kingdom of Somercrag. While most of these people took care to cause as little disruption with their sudden and unexplained absence as possible, the same could not be said for Rila Wren-Stoneheart, then Admiral of the Royal Fleet, who absconded with fully half the Royal Fleet.
