History

House Dent of Arrowbreach was formed in 442KS when Duke Edgarth Hayford took up command of House Hayford of Haycastle following the end of The Revolution of 441KS, following Elliot Dent's loyal service during the war and the young duke's imprisonment. Elliot became the Mayor of Arrowbreach as well as Edgarth's Justicar.

At the Tourney at Southbay 443KS, Elliot made a connection with Hannah Frosher, a talented hunter and daughter of a knight in service to House Southbay of Southbay, and the two soon married.

In 454KS, while both Elliot and Hannah were serving in the Secessionist army in The War For The Foxworth Secession 454KS, Arrowbreach became occupied by The Company of The Third Man. The Dent estate was raided, but the mercenaries showed little interest in the household staff or the Dent children.

In July of 454KS Elliot was assassinated on the shore of Westlake by Shela Blackwood.

At the end of the war, following the Terms of the Surrender of The Secessionist Forces 454KS, Arrowbreach became the seat of House Hayford of Arrowbreach. This left Hannah Dent and her children dispossessed. They were taken in by Lady Ophelia Foxworth-Hayford to become part of House Sawler of the Dyrwood.
