 Raegeric is the element of energy given body and mind, one of the ten Erlithmanil. He is the counterpart of Dalyeric, the element of decay. His magic and his influence is most felt in Skaney, the site of his seat, Yggdrasil. Like all of the Erlithmanil, Raegeric has five aspects. These aspects are both different divisions of his magic and expressions of different parts of his mind. Raegeric's aspects are Beranok the electric, Ylixa the chemical, Ralgot the magnetic, Ranalis the pyschic and Malok the chaotic. Not all of his aspects are fully understood or at least not all qualities of them. Most of the time, he is recognized by one particular aspect—electricity.
Raegeric isn't well understood and he prefers it this way, contrasting his overtly friendly nautre. Unlike his counterpart, he is extremely straightforward, bold, energetic and forceful. He doesn't waste time with schemes or plots, he strikes fast and gets his business done before kicking back with a strong drink. He has his own brand of humor and is extremely outgoing, the kind of person who acts and behaves for the sake of fun regardless of the consequences! Practical jokes, pranks, silly games and provoking people just to see their reaction are all to be expected as he is a man who enjoys any and all entertainment--one of many reasons he is seen as the patron of merriment and brewing. Raegeric's parties are just as legendary as his battles!  |
Alongside all of the Erlithmanil. Raegeric's body was destroyed and his soul was sealed away before it could reform by Accia Syltharis and Sylthari the Celestial. Without their divine souls, the bodies of the Erlithmanil were unable to regenerate and withered away. This string of events is referred to as the Downfall of the Erlithmanil. Like the rest of her kind, she seeks a new body and took on an Elemental Familiar to this end. Raegeric's familiar is Pandora who was originally a Sha. Pandora enjoys good fun and chaotic adventure just the same as her master. Raegeric is very fond of Pandora because of her energetic and wild personality, feeling he couldn't have found a more suitable familiar. He keeps her quite busy, going through hosts faster than any other Erlithmanil whether because he pushes these host bodies too far too fast or from provoking Zalikar. |
Appearance |
Like all divines, Raegeric can take up any appearance he chooses similarly to a Shape Shifter. He prefers the appearance of his closest followers, the Ostmen of Skaney, but will readily alter his ethnicity at need. Raegeric is tall, lanky and strapping with sunny blonde hair and and bright yellow or blue eyes. He generally only takes on female forms for jokes and pranks! Sometimes he is clean shaven while other times he sports a beard, especially when appearing before the people of Yggdrasil. There are also times he takes up a less bulky frame when he doesn't want to appear threatening or intimidating. |

Abilities |
Raegeric is the source of all five of his aspects—he is energy itself. He can freely manipulate any of his aspects without limitation. He is also able to temporarily cut off a light caster from accessing his element, temporarily disabling their innate connection. However, Raegeric cannot permanently disconnect a caster and it takes concentration to maintain. He can even create new casters, temporary or otherwise. Raegeric can freely come and go from his elemental planes and exert control over them. He can become aware of anything occurring in these planes when shifting his awareness to them. However, most of these abilities are limited by whether or not he has a host body. Without a body, all of his activity is limited to his planes and his separate aspects. |

Beranok |
Beranok is the aspect of electricity, whether this is static, raw electricity, lightning or even the teeny charges a nervous system used to communicate. This is Raegeric's signature aspect, the one he is most known for, but its application is more diverse in advanced societies. |
Ylixa |
Ylixa is the aspect of chemistry, especially acids and chemical reactions which produce energy. This is a complex aspect encompassing many different areas of chemistry and science but most Emyneans recognize it only as acid. Enzymes and all manner of chemical reactions fall under the umbrella of Ylixa. Many of these even involve chemical reactions occuring within the bodies of living organisms on miscroscopic levels such as the breakdown of ATP and proteins. It has even made him the patron of brewing alcohol and medicine! |
Ralgot |
Ralgot is the aspect of magnetism and magnetic fields, whatever the scale. Raegeric is fabled to be able to travel anywhere in Emynea via the planet's magnetic fields but more often uses it to float across rooms or pull iron objects to him! This is one of his most utilitarian aspects. |
Ranalis |
Ranalis is the aspect of the mind, of all psychic abilities and thought itself! He is a very unique aspect in that it is both physical and mental, a bridge of sorts. Ranalis represents thoughts, psychic energy, the nervous system and the mind itself. It is actually the aspect which generates all Mind Spaces and connects all mental planes. This gives Raegeric access and awareness of all active thoughts all across Emynea but he can also exert abilities such as telekinesis and telepathy. It's a truly unique and frightful aspect! |
Malok |
Last of his aspects is Malok which encapsulates emotions, thoughts, states and memories related to chaos, insanity, selfishness and placing the individual over the many. He is privy to every selfish desire, suppressed frustration and urge for chaos and has even been known to instigate insanity with this aspect. |

Personality |
 Bold, energetic, charming, outgoing and fun, Raegeric is a welcome ally who brings any group together! However, he can also be abrasive, selfish, unhinged, chaotic, harsh, ruthless and come on extremely strong. He charges forward into his pursuits, totally unaware and uncaring of any damage he wreaks, never biting his tongue. He doesn't look back and he doesn't consider the future, Raegeric lives squarely in the moment! He also reminds others to live in the moment, energizing friends and encouraging them to take care of their own needs, to let out all their pent up emotions!
  Despite his easygoing nature, one should still keep in mind Raegeric's temper and wrath, to be careful not to instigate it. While normally cheerful, outgoing and amicable, his anger is absolutely devastating! Once instigated he does not differentiate between friend or foe and he won't calm until absolutely everything is out of his system. He makes no attempt to restrain or limit himself, raw destruction unleashed onto everyone and everything. Even his gaze itself in this state will incite insanity and he certainly behaves as though he has lost his mind. He is truly a natural disaster once his wrath is released, the wrath of mother nature in its purest and unadulterated state! It is no surprise he is believed to be a parent to the embodiment of storms, Rylmer . |
Background |
Alongside Rylis, Raegeric has always been the one to breath life and joy into their little elemental family. He keeps a smile on everyone's faces, breaks down barriers between them and helps bridge the differences among them. He has also always been intensely protective of this little family, not hesitating to unleash his raw power onto any who threaten or hurt any of his allies. He was the first to lash out during the Birth of the Erlithmanil, after they were attacked. Everything he does he does with zero hesitation. |
Morality |
Unlike his counterpart, Raegeric will always place the experience of each individual over the group. He sees no point in balance on the grand scale if each individual is miserable, if even one has to sacrifice who they are. He sees that as only a false balance. He believes no one should be forced to suppress who they are or how they feel, life too short and too exciting to be stifled. This is also the main reason he has sided with Lithmor in the schism between the Erlithmanil. |
Motivation |
Much like Dalyeric and a number of Erlithmanil, Raegeric seeks to maintain balance in Emynea and among his allies. However, the balance he is concerned with isn't the overarching balance of nature or life and death, though he still recognizes the importance of this mission. He is instead concerned with the balance of emotions within each individual and especially within each of his friends. He is sensitive to and concerned with the thoughts and feelings of all sentient life on Emynea. Like a thunderstorm equalizes the imbalance of charges of the atmosphere he attempts to equalize imbalances within the minds of his allies and all of Emynea. Though he isn't afraid to put himself first either, feeling he can't properly fulfill this role of he himself isn't balanced out and fully charged. |
Relationships |
Zalikar cannot tolerate spending time around Raegeric who endlessly makes up ridiculous nicknames for all of his cohorts. Raegeric also baltantly ignores Zalikar's boundaries and intimidationg, having lost many a host body to these shenanigansg. Rylis is one of his closest friends and they even have had a child together with Wylrith. He has a skill for reminding Wylrith to think about their own happiness.
Rylis, Raegeric and Lunil tend to get into all manner of shenanigans and midadventures together, Raegeric only further fanning their own wild and energetic tendencies. Ylithuum has a habit of reigning all of them in when they get too wild or helps them rest and restore after wearing themselves out. He also gets along surprisingly well with Lithmor and Ferith, sharing an appreciation for the individual virtues of humanity—they all admire and seek to encourage the best qualities of humanity. |
Counterpart |
Raegeric and Dalyeric get along better than any other counterpart pairing. No matter how many years go by, no matter whoever else the other may become romantically involved with and no matter how different their priorities may be, they remain head over heels for each other. However, most of the others find the both of them insufferable together, often driving others around them away with their weird games, uncomfortable displays of affection or lust anf sickening nicknames. |
