Kiba
Kiba the Chimera

Lunil is the element of Fauna, all animals except those belonging to his children falling under his domain. He is a counterpart to Fliral and a member of the Erlithmanil. His blessings are spread throughout all of Emynea and are among the most common. Lunil finds joy in crafting new, chimeric organisms and especially loves bringing cryptids and legends to life! He is most revered in the unknown continents the kingdom calls Continent Beyond.

Like the other Erlithmanil, Lunil has five aspects. These aspects are Maralith, Riptalis, Besida, Lishil and Iliog. Maralith is the aspect of mammals. Riptalis is the aspect of reptiles. Besida is the aspect of birds. Lishil the aspect of fish. Iliog is the aspect of amphibians. Lunil, Fliral and Dalyeric have had a few children together, these children Aethid or minor elements encompassing organisms not belonging to their parents' asepcts.

Elemental Familiar

Like the rest of the Erlithmanil. Lunil forged a bond between himself and an Elemental Familiar after his physical body was destroyed and his divine soul sealed away. This familiar, Kiba the Tanuki, roams Emynea seeking out a viable host body for his master. Much like Lunil, Kiba is boisterous and comical, always trying to put a smile on his allies faces. Yet he also has a hot temper, becoming uncontrollable and viscious when provoked. But Lunil sees this as part of his charm, ever amused by the adventures of his familiar! Kiba has found Lunil a potential host but the road to becoming one is long for Cuntur who is still in training.

Out of all of the Erlithmanil, Lunil has one of the most variable appearances. He is almost constantly taking on a mix of different animal features, rarely showing his human face. When he does, he takes on features of different beyonders, red or pink hair and eyes and pointy ears. Even in beastial forms, his fur, scales and such are usually some shade of red or pink, his elemental colors. Whatever form he takes, Lunil is usually tall, imposing, bulky and muscular. The Continent Beyond is among his favorite lands but he might also take on attributes of inhabitants of the Lost Isles.

Personality

Lunil himself is wild, boisterous and uninhibited. He is very rough around the edges, preferring to avoid human society and having a distaste for beaurocracy, settlements and traditions. While he can be severe and unflinching in the face of death, Lunil can also be jovial, sympathetic, reliable and amicable to those who earn his respect. Lunil also plays a much more active role in the lives of his Aethid children compared to other Erlithmanil, having an active relationship with them when he is has a host. He loves his precious beasts and enjoys granting humans attributes of them. Yet he has drawn a strict line between animals and humans, very few outside of his own family capable of transforming fully into a beastial form. He happily grants humans a handful of features of a given animal but is strictly opposed to allowing humans to become animals.

Family

Like the other members of the Erlithmanil, Lunil has a romantic relationship with his counterpart, Fliral. Yet unlike the rest, their relationship is by far the most stable and harmonious union. They compliment and depend on each other, Lunil always bringing a smile to her face while she is his tranquility amid any storm. While they will pull in or see other people on their own, their ultimate loyalty has always been to each other and they have remained married throughout them millenia unfalteringly. Most commonly, Dalyeric is the third member of their throuple! In fact, their children were born to all three entities including Banalkar the Ecosphere, Zuvaath the Invertebrate and Malrot the Microscopic. Lunil is especially close with his oldest child, Banalkar, who embodies ecosystems, their balance and the hunt.

Abilities

Lunil is the source of all five of his aspects as he is the embodiment of all animals and beast magic. He can wield this magic without limitation. He can even temporarily cut off casters from his element, disabling their innate connection to him. Yet he can't permanantly disconnect a person, all divine pacts irreversable, but he can also create new beast casters! Lunil can also come and go from all five of his Elemental Planes and exert control over them and his aspect which are a part of him. But without a physical body, Lunil's activity is limited purely to these planes. Otherwise, most of Lunil's abilities revolve around transforming into, taking on qualities of and exerting control over different animals.

Aspects and Planes

Each of Lunil's aspects have their own elemental plane. Physical planes overlay and exist parallel to the physical world, connecting anywhere and everywhere an aspect occurs. In each of his planes, an illusion of or shadow of each organism existing in the physical world immitates their movements. There are also live animals matching the plane which reside purely within the planes, often summoned into the physical world by beast casters. For many of these planes, Lunil's domain tends to merge with or overlap with Fliral's, providing inhabitants with all that they need! Unlike most other Erlithmanil, Neither Lunil or Fliral have mental aspects.
