Besida

(a.k.a. Fish)

Besida is an aspect of Lunil and a physical aspect. It revolves around all birds. This is the counterpart to Lithyr, flowers and fruit. These two have a large relationship revolving around diet, pollination and seed distribution. Besida magic is popular and common, the ability of flight being both sought after and advantageous similarly to Lishil magic.

Racial Manifestations

When Lunil gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.

Manifestations

Manipulation

Able to manipulate, communicate with, attract or direct birds that are present or nearby. These organisms will disperse and/or regain their will when the caster runs out of energy or ceases their control.

Aura

Able to summon or attract birds or a partner they have established a bond with previously.

Eye

Able to see birds present around them or within a given distance and can tell the species even through barriers.

Sense

Able to feel sense birds present in their environment, within a given distance, and sense what kinds of beast they are despite barriers.

Skin

Able to grow the feathers of a given bird from their skin.

Bone

Able to switch between human bones and light, avian bones at will.

Fertility

Able to increase the fertility of birds and aid in the healthy development and hatching of the eggs. Can alter the sex of the egg early on.

Will

Can amplify the magic of others via a bird partner.

Imprint

Able to mark a number of targets as their "flock". Once marked, those marked can communicate via telekinesis and can sense each other's location. They can even flock together in flight.

Shield

Immune to all bird magic and cannot be hurt by birds directly.

Vision

Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Besida's Plane. Can see through the eyes of any bird by using their corresponding 'shadow' in the plane.

Step

Can enter and exit Besida's Plane via portals and travel the plane freely, without injury. Can bring another with them while maintaining contact.

Form

Their magic form has features of a specific bird incorporated into it, occasionally gaining a specific beast's racial magic as well. They will be able to manifest certain characteristics of this bird.

Body

The caster bonds to a bird when they are born and their lives are connected permanently, both taking on the longer life span between them. They can share attributes, racial magics and energy but if one dies, so does the other.
