Maralith

(a.k.a. Mammal)


Maralith is an aspect of Lunil and a physical aspect. It revolves around all mammals. Humans are mammalian, but as the favorite of Luxis, they fall under no aspect. However, they can still be affected by a number of Maralith magics. This is the counterpart to Barnok, crops and harvest, as they are also heavily tied to agriculture and humanity as most livestock are mammals. As such, this is an aspect valued by humanity in every society and era.

Racial Manifestations



When Lunil gifted all lifeforms with their magic, each life form was capable of receiving two gifts. Each of these blessings would grant the lifeform a connection to a specific aspect and this connection could be utilized in a given way. These gifts were passed down to their descendants as well and eventually beings came to call these gifts Racial Magic. These are named by the aspect a caster is connected to and by how they can use it, how they manifest their connection.

Manifestations

Manipulation
Able to manipulate, communicate with, attract or direct mammals that are present or nearby. These organisms will disperse and/or regain their will when the caster runs out of energy or ceases their control.

Aura
Able to summon or attract mammals or a partner they have established a bond with previously.

Eye
Able to see mammals present around them or within a given distance and can tell the species even through barriers.

Sense
Able to feel sense mammals present in their environment, within a given distance, and sense what kinds of beast they are despite barriers.

Skin
Able to grow the fur of a given mammal from their skin.

Charge
Can store up magic energy over time that takes the form of blubber which they can convert back to energy at need. It also is useful for protection and warmth.

Craft
Able to craft and generate milk with various properties, even healing or restorative properties.

Fertility
Able to increase the fertility of mammals, even humans, and aid in the healthy development and birth of the baby.

Will
Can amplify the magic of others via contact or by sending a mammalian partner to channel their ability. Only amplifies dark, water, air, decay or beast magic.

Imprint
Able to mark a number of targets as their "pack". Once marked, those marked can communicate via telekinesis and can sense each other's location.

Shield
Immune to all mammal magic and cannot be hurt by mammals directly.

Vision
Able to enter a meditative state in which the caster can explore and peek through portals or windows within Maralith's Plane. Can see through the eyes of any mammal by using their corresponding 'shadows' in the plane.

Step
Can enter and exit Maralith's Plane via portals and travel the plane freely, without injury. Can bring another with them while maintaining contact.

Form
Their magic form has features of a specific mammal incorporated into it, occasionally gaining a specific beast's racial magic as well. They will be able to manifest certain characteristics of this mammal.

Body
The caster bonds to a mammal when they are born and their lives are connected permanently, both taking on the longer life span between them. They can share attributes, racial magics and energy but if one dies, so does the other.
