Lithmor is the element of light, the physical and mental embodiment of this force of nature. She is among the ten Erlithmanil and acts as the counterpart of Zalikar, darkness. She is a very popular figure in Emynea and worship of her has always been widespread especially in Alkelbulan. Zalikar was her husband for millenia and they had a daughter, Sylthari. However, the two are now sworn enemies.
Lithmor, like all of the Erlithmanil, possesses five aspects. These aspects are both different divisions of her magic and expressions of different parts of her mind. Lithmor's aspects are Kalitho the Prismatic, Rithaldis the Radiant, Mpertem the Joyous, Rylmar the Dreamer and Kanilwyr the Known. Kalitho is color as in visible light, Rithaldis is radiance and the embodiment of the sun, Mpertem is joy and euphoria, Rylmar is hope and dreams and Kanilwyr is knowledge and memory. As the embodiment of light, Lithmor is bright, inspirational, bold, passionate, radiant and creative. She trusts those she chooses to wholeheartedly and is naturally altruistic if not gullible. She can become manic and forgets not everyone can handle her intensity and passion, her doting personality. She is often worshiped as a goddess, especially in Alkelbulan. Ilnid competes with Lithmor as a deity in Alkelbulan, Lithmor naturally revered as a prophet of Allah (Luxis) in Islam al'Rasul, a role he has taken over in her absence. She is a natural leader, skilled in inspiring all around her and burning brightly no matter the odds. Alongside all of the Erlithmanil, Lithmor's physical form was destroyed and her soul was sealed away by Accia Syltharis, and her own daughter Sylthari the Celestial, before her body could reform. Without their divine souls, the bodies of the Erlithmanil were unable to regenerate and withered away. This string of events is referred to as the Downfall of the Erlithmanil. Like the rest of her kind, she seeks a new body and took on an Elemental Familiar to this end. Stella is her familiar, an equally energetic and bold creature. Stella is currently serving a Shape Shifter partner who was more or less unable to synchronize with Lithmor, failing as a host and abandoning Ilnithic after Lily Desjardins continued pushing him too far in training. Stella and Lithmor are awaiting his long lifespan to end, very little time remaining for him. |
Appearance |
Like all divines, Lithmor can take up any appearance she chooses similarly to a Shape Shifter. She prefers Alkelbulian characteristics, altering more specific features like subethnicity depending on what she finds most beautiful at the time. Neither dainty or petite, Lithmor takes up a full, athletic and robust form. She is powerful and bold, palpably proud of her natural radiance. She is an avid appreciator of beauty and confidently displays her own without any trace of uncertainty. She has become an icon of feminine beauty and empowerment for this reason, ever lighting up a room. |

Lithmor is extremely striking and beautiful. Her complexion is perfect and many would describe her as radiant. Her hair is naturally alabaster but she enjoys adding an array of bright colors while the color of her eyes changes with her mood. She prefers eye and hair colors that are not natural as she greatly values creativity and self-expression. In fact, her hairstyle constantly changes, often dramatic and eye-catching, and is an important point of pride for her.
Lithmor enjoys keeping up with the latest fashions and styles if not setting new trends herself, finding joy in humanity's ideals of beauty. These standards of beauty greatly affect her style of clothes and jewelry. When society has advanced far enough, she adores keeping up with fashion industries! And as one might expect of such a radiant, confident goddess, she enjoys showing off her body and combatting misogyny alongside Ferith. |
Abilities |
Lithmor is the source of all five of her aspects—she is light itself. She can freely manipulate any of her aspects without limitation. She is also able to temporarily cut off a light caster from accessing her element, temporarily disabling their innate connection. However, Lithmor cannot permanently disconnect a caster and it takes concentration to maintain. She also retains the ability to create new light casters, temporary or otherwise. Lithmor can freely come and go from her elemental planes and exert control over them. She can be aware of anything occurring in these planes when shifting her awareness to them. However, most of these abilities are limited by whether or not she possesses a host body. Without a body, all of her activity is limited to her planes and her separate aspects. Unlike most other Erlithmanil, most of her asepcts are mental ones. These five aspects are Kalitho, Rithaldis, Mpertem, Rylmar and Kanilwyr. |
Kalitho |
Kalitho lends Lithmor total control over and perception of light and color, those visible to humanity and beyond. She can even turn into and travel using light, leaving her highly mobile and seemingly impervious to physical attack. All electromagnetic waves on the spectrum fall under this aspect but the line becomes fuzzier when dealing with radioactive waves, the domain of Rithaldis. Either way, Kalitho is the ideal aspect for illusions, performances and the arts.
|
Rithaldis |
Rithaldis primarily encapsulates the sun, photons and the energetic properties of light. This can include sunlight and actual radiation itself. While her daughter rules over all other celestial bodies, the sun is purely Lithmor's domain and worship of her is widespread because of this. This aspect is her primary physical weapon, most other powers mental or purely visual. But one shouldn't underestimate the potency and raw power of this aspect!
|
Mpertem |
Her remaining abilities are all mental aspects. Mpertem revolves around euphoric emotions, states, thoughts and memories including joy, pride, bliss, mania, happiness, motivation and satisfaction.
|
Rylmar |
Rylmar is the aspect revolving around positive imagination as opposed to its counterpart Felryth, fear. These can include aspiration, ambition and hope but also rules over all dreams, Felryth ruling nightmares.
|
Kanilwyr |
Finally, Kanilwyr is the aspect of knowledge, memory and honesty. Kanilwyr occupies a special place in Lithmor's mind as Irkath does for Zalikar. All information and knowledge which is known, commonly accepted and currently circulated falls under her domain and she herself automatically gains all knowledge stored within this plane. This includes all memories not falling to Irkath, those which are not secret or concealed. This is one half of a total omniscience shared with Zalikar's aspect Irkath, caught in an eternal tug of war between what is known and unknown to humanity. Some mistake her aspect for truth when Kanilwyr rules over what is commonly believed. But compulsion toward truthfulness, opennes and general sharing of knowledge are within her power! |
Personality |
Lithmor is a strong and passionate entity but she can also be pushy, intense and judgmental. Inspiration is important to her, both in finding it for herself and inspiring those around her. Not everyone can keep up with her energy, creativity and intensity. While she can be warm and comforting presence, she has trouble understanding when she has taken things too far or lost sight of what is important. She has a brilliant and artistic mind and is a great advocator for the arts and academia, something her daughter also takes after. She enjoys championing for the weak or inspiring the downtrodden. |
Regrets |
She has always regretted the distance that has formed between her and Sylthari. She regrets not taking her side sooner. Lithmor wishes she had been more supportive and spent more time with her. She also regrets not fighting harder to oppose Zalikar before their downfall and is disappointed in herself for falling out of favor with Luxis during that time through inaction. Her relationship with Zalikar had become very unhealthy towards the end, Lithmor often enable him and trying to hang onto and salvage the relationship which had once been so beautiful! |
Morality |
Lithmor prioritizes life, joy, creativity, aspiration and truth. She wants people to live fully, chasing their dreams and doing what brings them happiness. Sometimes, she loses sight of anything else or what consequences may occur too focused on the present. She is repulsed by Zalikar's actions and actively tries to oppose him to make up for her previous inaction. She wants humanity to achieve the best future they can aspire to. Her ideal is a bright future, free of despair and wonton death. She wants a beautiful world and works to scour away all ugliness. |
Goals |
Unlike Zalikar and a number of her cohorts, Lithmor seeks the advancment of humanity. She finds limiting them distasteful, wishing humanity to grow as much as possible and push the limits of what they can achieve. This includes technological advancement, something many of the Erlithmanil are wary of as they have seen many advanced human eras rise and fall. She simply wants to see humanity thrive. |
Family |
Despite their drastic differences, Zalikar and Lithmor fell hard for each other early on, remaining married for millenia. Together, they sired the first Aethid, Sylthari the Celestial. Zalikar was far closer to Sylthari but Lithmor adored her daughter none-the-less, taking any excuse to spend time together and working together to inspire humanity.
Sylthari was beloved by many of the Erlithmanil, both as the first Aethid and for her dazzling peronality. They lived together as a family within Accia as the Dark King, Luminescent Queen and Lunar Princess. Even after her betrayal, Lithmor misses her daughter and questions how things might've been had she taken a stronger stand against her husband's eradications of humanity, had she sided with her daughter. Lithmor feels she cannot face Sylthari until she has made up for her previous inaction. |
Friends |
Ferith has always been her closest friend among the Erlithmanil, practically a sister to Lithmor! She also enjoys the company of Rylis and Raegeric. When she needs calmer, less energetic company she would spend time with Fliral or Ylithuum, their nurturing personalities restorative for her. She absolutely detests Dalyeric and currently views Zalikar as her nemesis despite their once fulfilling romance. |
Followers |
Lithmor was perhaps one of the most involved elements in regards to humanity, often befriending and becoming a patron to those who impress her with their knowledge, creativity or power. However, after being burned a number of times by those taking advantage of her generosity and trust, she has developped a more selective group to grant her strongest blessings. These chosen few live in the practical paradise, Dawn Ahrayn, acting as guardians and priestesses to Lithmor even as she remains sealed. These are the Zalag Ennun.

Aspects and Domains |
Each of Lithmor's aspects have their own elemental plane. Physical planes overlay and exist parallel to the physical world, connecting anywhere and everywhere an aspect occurs. For some planes, this is static while others constantly ebb and flow as the aspect occurs and moves. Mental planes instead connect to every mind of every cognizant species in Emynea, different planes connected to and storing the memories and thoughts related to certain emotions by aspect. |
