Danite

These are a pale skinned people with white or silver-blond hair with blue eyes. They are usually tall. They dislike direct sunlight and tend to be nocturnal. There development has been heavily influenced by magic giving them very long lives. However, they have a low-birthrate keeping their population in balance. They can interbreed with Corgerians and Dark Corgerians but are unable to do so with humans. They tend to live in urban steadings that house extended families in large, easily defended compounds. They are known to be skilled magic users and alchemists. They are also excellent craftspeople known for their jewelry and fine glass. They mainly can be found in the more northerly Kingdoms. Danites can also be found living side by side with Dark Corgerian populations.

Danites will generally speak whatever the primary language of the local human/Corgerian population is. Throughout the North Danite speak several interrelated dialects of Dagere (Tongue of the People) , the Danite language. Danite freqently travel between their communities which contributes to a certainly uniformity of language and culture.

Common Dress code

If out during the daytime Danite place a priority on protecting themselves from the sun using hooded robes with flared sleeves secured with wide sashes. The robes are usually accompanied by voluminous cloaks. When inside or at night Danites of both sexes prefer long tunics with elaborate embroidery around the cuffs and color. Wealthy Danites will typically wear silver jewelry and gemstones.
