Alyite Chapter of Castell

This is a small, but important chapter of the Alyite Order. The chapter was established with the specific mission of protecting the Valley of the Fair and its community of witches from attack. The Chapter was established in reaction to a failed Zalarite effort to takeover the Valley. The group has historically numbered less than twenty members, but has always included at least one priestess, a battle mage, a holy warrior and a mix of heavy and light troopers. Typically the members of the Chapter do five year stints in the Valley of the Fair before going to other assignments.
The chapter's members routinely patrol the Valley and its approaches and work closely the Valley's other defenders including the Covens.

Structure

Unusually for such a small unit, the Chapter is commanded by a long-service Captain, a lieutenant and an ensign assisted by a sergeant.

Public Agenda

To defend the Valley and its inhabitants on behalf of the Alyite Order.

Assets

Once a year a pay chest is delivered to the Chapter and paid out throughout the year. The villagers of the valley show their appreciation of the Alyite by providing many free resources such as tack and harness for horses, horseshoes and food.
