None. She once almost stabbed her own face while staring at a mirror because "Mama" said that she had a perfect and flawless face. It's actually to the point of it being creepy, like she could be mistaken for an inanimate object if she kept her face still.

Being an albino woman with a grey hoodie and an axe does a lot for being recognizable.

Albinism. Also has a slight limp after some fights as she pushes harder on one leg than the other.

Really good at throwing axes and moving completely silently despite carrying heavy equipment and moving at a fast pace.
Apparel & Accessories
Grey hoodie/jacket with a hood and baggy grey sweatpants are her usual. She still wears a grey mask even though the Covid-19 pandemic ended years ago in-universe (story starts in 2028), as well as shades. She often wears makeup specially to make her seem just slightly paler than normal instead of an obvious albino, and often wears gloves. She doesn't like it when people look at her, especially not if she thinks they may be attracted to her, even if she's attracted to them.

Petra's ma worked as a cashier when she met Petra's dad over the worst app ever invented, Tinder. They met one night and then never saw each other again. As it happens, Petra and General Aramis have the same father, being half-siblings.
Petra was born in Manchester. People who know what Manchester is will not be surprised by this: Petra's ma was at a drug addicts anonymous meeting when her water broke, and the ambulance was held up by traffic as someone drunkenly tried to do a wheely with a truck loaded with heavy machinery.
It was an extremely difficult birth, largely due to Petra coming out feet first, and when the ambulance finally arrived they actually had to defibrillate Petra's mother twice due to her flatlining in the ambulance.
Petra was born an albino.
As a baby, Petra cried a lot. Not just a lot, a hell of a lot. Her ma's response was to actively ignore Petra in an attempt to train her to stop crying, and only feed her once she stopped crying. Petra wasn't often held.
Fuck's sake, Aramis and Petra's dad. You really have a type.
Anyway, Petra grew into her school years with a strong sense of self reliance and distrust towards others in general. She didn't have any sense of how to socialize with other kids, and was generally left out of group games. Clearly, the best supplement was getting in lots of fights with other kids, especially ones who bullied her for being an albino.
One of the kids Petra got in a fight with told their parents, parents told the school, school gave zero shits, other parents also told the school, school still didn't care, parent who is on the parent council tells the school, real shit.
Petra and her ma are called in and, after a very stressful meeting, Petra's ma takes drugs in the bathroom. In front of her daughter.
On the way back, Petra tries reciting some stuff from one of those cringy drugs bad videos she and her class were shown and in response Petra's ma, who is under the effects of those drugs, starts strangling her, in front of shitloads of people.
Petra's ma is placed on probation and, more significantly, Petra is placed into foster care.
Petra continued to be prone to getting in fights with other kids, and was now getting into them more often and into more extreme fights.
In the most extreme of these fights, a boy aged 16 called Petra, aged 11, a freak and she immediately responded with immediately punching him in the face. This escalated into a fight where he broke her leg and held her in a chokehold and she rammed her thumb into his eye so hard that he permanently lost the eye.
She was meant to be transferred to another foster home. Problem: she never arrived and records of her disappeared.
She was instead taken to a pedo brothel off the coast of Ireland.
... that's quite the escalation, so I'm gonna explain where this pedo brothel came from.
Sexual abuse of children by priests isn't exactly unheard of. In Ireland, it's more common as a larger portion of children grew up being raised by the church and it's a very catholic country where people are less likely to speak up about any molestation of kids that takes place.
During the Cold War, an island and the abandoned church on it were scrubbed from church and government records by spies from the USSR as part of a secret military program that consisted of turning the island into a hidden missile launching site. The USSR hoped this extra distance closer to the USA would bring the day when their missiles could hit US cities closer, but not much really came of the program.
By the time the USSR ended, the base was already abandoned. There was nobody on the island.
One of the staff members who'd worked on the base, and one of the only remaining, had already been operating pedo brothels for years in post-Soviet countries but knew they could be making far more money off of Westerners, and also had the issue of the fact that those who became aware of a pedo brothel nearby were pretty fucking opposed to its existence. They took a load of kidnapped kids, money from their previous brothels, and their staff with them to the island with an abandoned church and an abandoned military base and set up shop using Western contacts, most of them through an official in the Catholic Church in Ireland who they'd established contact with while the official was "proselytizing" in Romania.
Their whole thing was that rich pedos could order what they wanted in advance, from appearance to clothing to behaviour to even having rooms torn apart and completely refurbished for them all to suit what they wanted, separating it from taking a business trip to a country where it's easier to get away with molesting kids.
They especially liked collecting kids with physical abnormalities for their clients, such as genetic traits like heterochromia, dwarfism,
and, finally looping around to Petra, albinism. Some bribery, connections and blackmail later and she was under watch to be transported to them within the next few months, but her getting into her fight gave them the perfect excuse to get her ahead of schedule. Her having a broken leg only meant it would be harder for her to cause problems such as by trying to escape while they did their best to brainwash her.
Core to their brainwashing was a team of women required to act as surrogate "mamas" to the kids, the kids were required to refer to them as ma, mum, mother, mama or something else of the sort, and all of the women were tested positive for narcissism, psychopathy or other mental illnesses / neurodivergences that helped ensure that the attachments they were trained to create in the kids would be one-sided and the "mamas" wouldn't want to help the kids escape. They used the acting they'd learn to make the children love and fear them, using both carrot and stick to ensure none of them tried to escape.
The head of this team, her own origins being largely unknown, was a woman who took a special interest in handling specific children, and held enough power and sway to get to decide which kids went to her and which went to other women. She was an expert at manipulating the kids, all while viewing them as assets and cute pets, in that order. Children who disobeyed her were often subject to harsh punishments such as waterboarding and electric shocks, including from collars they were required to wear whenever not being used by a client.
Egan and Petra were among these children. They weren't aware of the other wings of the structure that other children were held in.
Egan was a redheaded kid from America whose parents died in a car accident without registering his birth. There weren't any files to scrub for there to be no child to have a missing person's case on.
Egan masterminded the escape. He cooked and cleaned and sucked up to their "Mama" and was rewarded by her having the price for him raised, apparently she had enough power to do this, which reduced the frequency of pedos paying for him and so gave him more time to gather materials and plan.
Over a year later, he brought Petra and 2 others, the rest they left behind for being bent to "Mama"'s will, into their plan and they escaped together, setting a fire and leaving their collars, which they'd learned how to take off without deactivating, spread out in the flames so that it would seem like they'd died in the flames.
"Mama" wasn't so stupid. They were caught at the island's dock by her as they were stealing a boat for their escape, having already knocked out 2 guards using chemistry and the cover of darkness. She broke the leg of one of them and hit the other over the head with a baton, all while promising not to hurt them. She was attacking Egan as well when Petra attacked her with a fire axe, sending both her and "Mama" into the freezing water. Egan was able to pull Petra out.
The friend who'd been hit in the head died due to a concussion. When they got to shore with a burning ship and started journying for a safe place to stay, another of the team died due to their broken leg and the fact that they'd been burned by the flames.
Egan and Petra found a house, stood alone in the countryside, and that nobody was home. They stole all the canned food, filled lots of water bottles and continued on their way.
They found a family of farmers. This is where Egan and Petra's journeys split. You'll have to read Egan's section of Characters that don't get their own articles because I don't have money for premium membership or whatever it's called.. Egan thought the family was trustworthy, but Petra thought they might be somehow working for the organization. Petra stole a bike and left the next day.
Hitchhiking and stealing food from stores later, she was able to sneak aboard a ship from Ireland to England, often staying at people's houses to shower and eat only to disappear before any child protective services could arrive. She often stole money to afford train tickets.
Finally, she got there. To the person she wanted to be with most of all.
Her ma. Her real ma.
annnnd she was dead. Died of a drug overdose while she was in foster care. Petra found out from her uncle, who she met at a salvation army stand that was giving free food to the homeless. He was working the stand.
After learning about everything that happened to her and being enough of a conspiracy theorist (unironically thought vaccines cause autism and that the world is flat), he commenced his plans to marry his girlfriend in America, where he'd been planning to go for some time now as, while you'll be laughed at if you believe in conspiracy theories regardless of UK or USA, it's more the case in the UK. His girlfriend was likewise a conspiracy theorist.

As for Petra coming with, he simply pretended that Petra's ma died of an overdose (true), that Petra was shaky because her step-father had molested her (no such step-father existed) and that he was as a result her legal guardian. He also paid a lot of money to get her a fake passport. I should also clarify Petra's uncle was not an albino.
Petra was raised the rest of her days in Texas. She spent her first year being home-schooled (home-schooling herself) to be on a similar academic level to the other students, but even then was basically at the bottom of the class at first, although by the time she graduated she was brilliant at most subjects.
She was terrified of being bullied because of her albinism at first, but after a few days of people finding it weird and interesting it was like having a broken leg once 3 days have passed: nobody gave a shit.
Also Petra 100% came to believe the conspiracy theories about vaccines, but not flat earth. She was literally in a literal conspiracy so it's not too surprising.
She was really into guns, martial arts and the like, and sometimes had dreams of killing the staff at the brothel. She went to the island the church was on when she was 18, bringing lots of guns, only to find it half burned down and completely abandoned. Just her and Egan getting away alive was enough to make them completely relocate everything to somewhere else.
She found a grown skeleton chained to a chair, charred from burning, and realized that most of the place being burnt wasn't from the night they escaped, but that someone had come and burnt it more, and the other charred skeletons indicated they hadn't actually left. She wondered if it was Egan who'd done this, and left after firing shots into the burnt skulls.
After some dissatisfying years in military training, she got a job offer from the FBI, who were aware of her past and, due to her flexing as hard as humanly possible in that military training, her skills.
The FBI had itself an extremely motivated pedo hunter, Petra got to release her trauma the only way that felt effective: killing and beating up pedos.
On one occasion, there was another brothel like the one she'd been in off the coast of China, in which she opened fire on multiple clients as they were uhh doing the pedo thing, losing her job with the FBI as a result because one isn't supposed to kill the pedos unless they resist arrest or try to run away, whereas she was making them drop like flies immediately. They'd been aware that she'd always been beating up pedos more than needed and killing them whenever given the slightest excuse, but this was too blatant.
Oh, and she broke jurisdiction by going to China for this as it was meant to be dealt with by Chinese authorities, who she didn't trust to actually keep those they captured imprisoned rather than let them go and blackmail them with the information of them being pedophiles, especially since these were all powerful people.
Her adventures didn't stop there, however, as she quickly became a missing person. She got funding and information from other organizations, FBI secretly included, to keep going around the world and rescuing victims of human trafficking.
She enjoyed specializing her equipment a lot more in this time. She got herself a bullet proof mask, and started regularly using a tactical battle axe along with smoke grenades. She still used guns against most opponents, but the axe was a tool of... execution.
Her greatest specialty in this ended up being, funnily enough despite her especially hating pedophiles, the rescuing of albinos as there are parts of Africa where they're literally kidnapped and their flesh hacked off for use in superstitious medicines, and being an albino herself - and a woman whose capability is often underestimated if she's wearing baggy enough clothing for her muscles not to be obvious - she had a very, very easy time getting into albino meat harvesting facilities while secretly having trackers inside of her so that the teams she worked with could bust down the door and rescue everyone.

Anyway she's in the middle of doing one of those when she's introduced to the story due to the facility she's in being attacked by Kusa, an 8 foot tall alien who thinks that albinos bring good luck and as a result wants all the albinos, insisting they either join him or he will eat them to absorb their luck... based Kusa?
