Clan Maraigh
Sigil: A green bear
Colors: Black and silver
Current Patriarch: Arvin, Lord of Malbrand Maraigh is fairly new Clan, created only a few generations ago to take possession of the Cursed Castle of Malbrand. However, it is believed (and published) that they are the direct descendants of the ancient Clan Marnock. Clan Marnock long claimed to have the blood of the Aernigh in the their veins. They lived in caves and up trees in the Fiirwood. Their legends have them fighting werewolves and befriending the Revali, or sometimes the other way round, their courage outmatched only by their cleverness. Clan Marnock vanished sometime during the Witches' War. Fiirwood is a dangerous place, but it is generally assumed they passed away due to their isolation, unable to pass their name on. Clan Maraigh has thus inherited much of their reputation: secretiveness, self-reliance, and a vague connection to the ancient Aernigh.
