History
While most Revellian clans claim to have fought the Aernigh in ancient times, the Moyras go further to say they fought the Monsters of Aernigh myth. Their legendary founder, Moiraen Agmar, defeated three mighty sea serpents and flung them back into the oceans. This of course would have happened before the Norrish came south in Milos, making Moiraen Agmar one of the Aernigh. When pressed on this point, many of Clan Moyra will simply grin knowingly.
In nearer history, the Moyras provided many accomplished healers. Their people supposedly trained under the leachers of the New Orckid Empire before the collapse, and traded healing secrets with them. Today, the Moyraens still know more of herblore than most other clans. Famous Moyras include Eggart the Leach, one of their most celebrated healers; Adram Dragonrider, who supposedly tamed river wyrms in the Raathi swamps; and Wilma the Harper, who helped bring the Host Keeping faith to the Peninsula.
