Seat: Sorshan Manse, in Revelback Vassal of Clan Beth at Revelback Clan Sorshan has produced many spellers and even wizards throughout Revellia's history, but their most famous member was the unpopular @Lonnach, who served as Chief Justicar under King Barthos the Benificent and his grandson, Bennerog the Green Boar. Left to govern the land whilst King Bennerog fought in the Stock Wars, Lonnach was rendered impotent by the many warring factions. Prince Collium seized power immediately after Bennerog's death, and Sorshan himself died shortly after Collium's coronation. The Sorshans also produced Lady Tara Sorshan, who was wed to King Redham Ainros, producing King Griin the Firebrand, also known as Griin the King Killer. Nowadays, the Sorshans are seen as weak and indecisive, little more than a clan of highborn servants. Most members of the clan seem happy to perpetuate this: happy to help, respectful and officious, ever aware of and concerned with tradition and decorum. There are a handful among their number, oft called white martlets or ghastly martlets, who prove dour and brooding, resentful of their position and eager to either undermine those they perceive as looking down on them, or else prove their superiority to their adversaries, or even the rest of their own clan.

History
The Sorshans claim Siiari ancestry as one of the many clans that left the Fiirwood when rallying to Greeyan the Cold King, who deposed the Bastions and established the first Rule of Ainros . Before this time, the Sorshans were a small family composed chiefly of woodcutters, though a quiet reputation for sorcery has followed them, and their enemies often call them upjumped witches.
Family legends say the first Sorshan followed a black martlet south into the Fiirwood, fleeing either a pack of wolves or Nabas, the Wolf of Night. Many now claim this martlet was an incarnation of Katriss, Host of Hearth and Home.
