Mother to Griin, who would be king. Mother to Garach, who was slain in the War of East and West. Mother to Gurren, who died of Springlight Fever in adolescence. Mother to Reddas, who died of his years in Revelback.
Tara was a notably controversial queen, though relatively little is known about her. The personal spells of Anna Chains suggest she was a grasping manipulator who ruled over the king and sought to use their son Griin as a puppet king. Some have even claimed that Griin was gotten with King Redham's father King Maitiu, though the timeline for such an accusation is unclear. Pollen the Proud spells that Redham was frequently ill, and that Tara tried to rule in his place, and that this more than anything was responsible for destabilizing Anna Chains' control of the canton. Conversely, Genev the Terrible suggests this acrimony is greatly overblown, and that Tara actually sought to support Anna's attempts to rule in place of the weak monarch, further claiming that slanders against her were created after the fact.
