Chief Justicars: Lonnach Sorshan, Flaithe "the False" Faolan, Harec Elkwood, Golbran Oishlog Collium Beth was the first Prince of the Green Isle, securing Revellia's authority over the island. He helped rule the land during the reign of Bennerog the Green Boar, who lived and died at war. Collium began his reign by arresting his younger brother Prince Dorren, who had been plotting to seize the crown. Prince Dorren would remain imprisoned throughout Collium's rule. In many ways, Collium's brief reign was defined by his Chief Justicars. His first, Lonnach Sorshan, had served Bennerog and Barthos before him. Timid and easily bullied, Lonnach had displayed his ineptitude openly during Bennerog's rule, but Collium had no ready replacement, and so left him to focus on other matters. Lonnach managed to frustrate the King one last time by dying shortly into his reign, forcing him to search for a new one. Flaithe "the False" Faolan, the youngest son of Conric Faolan, achieved much during his brief service, most notably re-founding Great Cross as Swining, the new center for swine production in Revellia, and creating the new Clan Swinnerd. This ended the perpetual fighting over Great Cross and would fill the royal coffers many times over. It was not long, however, before Flaithe's secret was discovered. Flaithe was not the youngest son of Lord Conric, but rather his only daughter. She had disguised herself as a man in order to achieve military and administrative power. Flaithe was arrested, then replaced by Harec Elkwood. Harec was a steadying force despite his youth, but much turmoil would come of Flaithe's imprisonment. Lord Conric riled up the peasantry, leading to the Winter Riots of 935 RA and ending with Prince Dorreon, Collium's eldest son, abducting Flaithe from the dungeons and eloping into the Fiirwood, where they were privately wed. Fremman, the King's second son, was wed to a Sirtal to cement peace between East and West, which the King considered a waste of diplomatic potential. The King became bitter and distrustful after this, refusing to fund repairs to a city badly damaged by the riots. Harec Elkwood took to funding repairs in secret as the King focused on the Stock Wars, and this eventually led to a falling out. Harec returned to Berleigh, and Collium sent for his fourth Chief Justicar, Golbran "the Goblin" Oishlog. Oishlog was a hideous and unpopular man, yet somehow Collium connected with him, and repairs were finally made to the capital. Oishlog would later wed the King's niece, the beautiful Helessa Capall, called High Helessa. King Collium died in his sleep in the Winter of 940 RA. Golbran Oishlog was accused of poisoning him, but eventually exonerated.
