Session 65: Pyramids, Puzzles and snakes

Randi is late again.
 
Hydry appears to be a vampire spawn now.
 
I guess we got to the pyramid. We are facing a wall of various symbols.
 
When I arrive, Joe is stuck in a room by themselves trying to solve riddles. They had touched a symbol of Isis on the wall and disappeared. It's completely dark. They hear a riddle:
 
JOE'S RIDDLE - "I bind hearts and restore what's broken. I guide the lost and shelter the fallen. " Joe struggles to find the correct answer. They eventually guess it though. It's LOVE
 
Elias touches a symbol of Horace and disappears into another room. He sees a dark room and finds a riddle:
 
ELIAS'S RIDDLE- "From the heavens i sore my vision keen, a crown upon my head by right foreseen. I watch with one eye fierce and bright what am I? Who defends the light? "
 
After a couple of wrong guesses, he gets it correctly. It's FALCON
 
Panfyr touches Thoth symbol. She gets the following riddle:
 
PANFYR'S RIDDLE- "I measure the stars and mark the days. My words endure through endless waves. in ink or stone my truth remains. Who am I with Wisdom's reigns."
 
Panfyr guesses her riddle very easily . It's SCRIBE
 
Hydr touches the symbol of Anubis. He disappears and he's in a field of reeds. He hears a voice that says "You should already be here" Hydr doesn't really know what to do with this and just starts to run away into the infnite reeds. After running, he's like, I guess I'll accept Anubis's offer. Anubis pulls Hydr's heart out of his chest. Weight is against the feather of Mot. The scales balance. Hydyr is in the clear apparently.
 
 
The DM kind of talks Noah into hitting the Anubis symbol also. Angst sees Hydr and Anubis in the distance. Anubis sees Angst and finds him interesting.
 
He wants to ask him a riddle, but not before taking his heart. Angst s now in the reeds with Hydr. Anubis weights Angst's heart and it is heavy. Angst tells Anubis it is not his heart he holds, but it is the Ravenqueen's as she is the owner of it.
 
ANGST'S RIDDLE- "I am the guide to the end of breath. A silent judge on the path of death. Im shadows I dwelt my forms k-9 . "
Angst does not guess correctly, but Anubis shows mercy and gives him a black coin with a skull on it.
 
He vanishes and Hydr and Angst are now standing in a chamber. A door slides up once the riddles are answered correctly? I guess we see everyone again? I don't really know what is happening.
 
anyway, we find a room with a bunch of stone statues screaming. We suspect they've been turned to stone. Angst discovers magical tiles on the ground. These may be traps that may be responsible for the stone people.
 
WE mark the stones that are safe while Franz guides us through.
 
We get to some magical fountains of water.
 
There are inscriptions. It's another riddle. Angst is super excited about it. NOT.
 
There is a snake statue that has water coming out of the mouth we use it to fill the pool. We hear a clicking sound from another room. There is a large cat statue. Angst sticks his hand in its mouth and it turns old and mummified and really hurts.
 
He ends up chopping off his own hand. Ash begs to trade her bullette whistle for it, and he accepts.
 
Angst, to get revenge on the cat statue tries to take it's paw and it actually turns out to be a weird staff with claws tha the attaches to his missing hand.
 
Franz finds a secret compartment where the paw was. There is a scroll case in there.
 
WE also discover if we put water in the cats mouth, the black mummifying sphere disappears and we find a chest in there.
 
we find a bust of Anubis in it. Inside is another little scroll
 
 
Randi had to leave. I know there were snakes that appeared and everyone had to fight.
 
It is PanAelsh th 16th 1083. 3pm.
 
We have Eloi and Eliza.
