Session 86: The Final Session

Ash is in a gambling hall with some gods of death, totally lost and confused.
 
The group, minus Ashe have just finished their long rest. Panfyr and the group discuss what they want to wish for with the ring.
 
 
1. The rift is healed as our enemies are pulled into it forever sealed
2. Vesta never gives the ring to Panfyr when she asks for it
3. We figure out a way to kill Pirate Pete without anyone dying
 
As they are discussing the wishes, Panfyr falls over unconscious again. She meets with Vecna.
He takes her to a room where there is a hand and eyeball.
 
She wishes that the magical rift closes as our enemies fall into it, smashing them forever so that the rift can never be opened again anywhere in the world, not by any devil, demon, wish spell, person.
 
Vecna says, "So be it" and disappears
 
Panfyr meddles with the hand and eyeball. She puts both in her bag of holding.
 
She then wakes up and tells everyone what she wished for.
 
Meanwhile, Ashe is in the gambling hall. She learns that she is the proxy of Murkul. she sits at the table and makes friends with a guy named kid dragon. He ends up helping her out. Tells her about Maeve, and some guy named The Brat, who is the proxy of Vecna today.
 
She ends up losing all her chips, but kid dragon gives her some more and everyone encourages her to stay. she makes it to the final round somewhow
 
She ends up winning the whole thing. Mirkul takes all the soul coins she won including Passins, but gives her 10 and frees her and Elias. I guess she's gonna have to come back next year to defend her title.
 
She gets back to the group. She learns the wish that they made did NOT work.
 
As we are talking about it, Panfyr starts to fly into the air, uncontrollably. Elias suddenly ties a rope to her and ties her to a tree. It's definitely the rift is pulling Panfyr?
 
Suddenly we see a blurry ball of orange with a spinning tail and a blue thing hanging off of it? or someone blue?? As it gets closer, we see that it runs into the trees and it says ""Ahhhh bdudududude." It's Dustera, and she's just rolled up in front of us. We tell her what happened, and she says that Azelbohv wrote books on why you should NEVER cast a wish on the rift. I guess this is really bad? and unswishing it would be even worse, not that we could, because Panfyr wished for a wish to not be able to undo it.
 
Ash finds out that the wish is someone pulled Panfyr into its enactment. The reason the rift is closing is because Panfyr has to be the one to close it....Good news, sort of....our enemies are also probably floating towards the rift now? Panfyr will have to hold the rift closed for all of eternity??
 
So Ash begs Franz to think of something because he's so powerful. We all come up with the idea for him to try and recreate the magic jar spell from memory to try and trap Panfyr's soul. We have a fancy bottle that he can use. He uses it. I guess he casts the spell, and this actually puts his own soul in the jar. He can project it or possess something, but that's it.
 
He gives up on this plan. As we discuss this, we hear Mammon approach calling for Elias.
 
He wants Ash's soul coins. somehow making claim to them? Panfyr tells Elias that he could use the hand and eye of vecna as some kind of bargaining chip
 
Mammon ends up summoning us to his lair. Elias's uncle, father, mother and Andromeda are all here.
 
Elias gets to hug his mom.
 
I guess Mammon is trying to take claim to Passin's soul coin that Myrkul has? He wants all the Hoccleve souls?
 
He wants to make a deal to get their souls?
 
Elias tells Mammon his soul is contracted to Glycia. He then offers an option to Passin- and passin advises his soul is also owned.
 
He then asks Elias's father what he would trade for his soul.
 
Elias's father says he would like his family back. His wife and son by his side.
 
Elias scoffs at this reminding him that he was the one who left THEM. Mammon offers to reverse it all and send his dad back in time so that he never left.
 
Elias tells his dad that if he really cares about his family, he would use this deal to save Panfyr. That would be the right step to start moving towards his family.
 
Elias really pulls at his heartstrings with a very convincing point about how his dad has always focused on the wrong things and trying to fix things with logic and magic, and by doing say, he lost his family. You can't fix everything with magic. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and put your best foot forward. There are no guarantees.
 
This ends up striking a chord with Elias's father. He tells Mammon to make it so. Elias ends up hugging his father for the first time. He tells him he doesn't know if he'll ever be able to forgive him, but he will try.
 
Mammon makes the deal.
 
He sends us all back, and Panfyr starts to descend slowly. Elas's father is now floating towards the rift in her place. As he floats away, Elias takes the butterfly out of his hair, puts it into Eraticus's hair, holds onto him as long as he can, but lets him go. as Eraticus floats away, Eraticus says, "I love you and your mother' and that is the last thing Elias hears and sees of him.
 
A little while later, A silver dragon flies down and lands. It's Aurendile. He tells us he believed in us the whole time and offers to take us up to show us our handy work.
 
We fly by Azelhbov and he's super happy for the relief. We learn all enemies, Graazt, Pete, Passin, anyone that has fucked us over got sucked into the rift.
 
We go back to Eldoria and are celebrated for our accomplishments. Franz gets his hat back, and is so happy. Panfyr finds out that his father is Stefan Strongbow, and starts to find peace with her life.
 
Franz uses his new wish spell to bring his parents and Morpheus back to this moment from the moment before they died.
 
What happened is now little Franz was killed on the boat. Morpheus never died.
 
Now we're all floating in Limbo? because I guess the wish never got made?
 
A gold dragon flies past and asks us to get on his back, so I guess we do. He takes us down to some githzarai. Their leader is named Lou, and they were expecting us. She scolds Franz for being careless with Time wishes.
 
She tells us that both little Franz and old Franz cannot exist, and she could try to stitch time back in a way that allows one of them.
 
We discuss baby Franz dieing to save his parents. We somehow cast True Resurrection on baby franz and then his parents get to raise him, and old Franz dies.
 
At that moment, the gold dragon brings in Avalora. He says that she could help us get our sphinx, and Franz could forget her name. WE all agree to do this, because sphinxes have powerful time magic. Maybe they could save both Franzes and his parents.
 
As we go through the first layer of the Abyss, we get into a fight with Pazoozoo. However Franz knocks the shit out of him so he stops pursuing us.
 
Avalora takes us to Therizdan. He's mad and evil and chained up. Elias tries to make friends with him. We find the androsphynx. Avolora wipes the name of her from Franz's memories and gives us the key to his chains. We free him and as he is flying us out, Alina takes the magic key from Franz, because she wants to free Therizdan??? OMG...
 
Luckily Hydyr saw this and we were able to get the key so this did not happen.
 
Andros gets us to the Maiden of the Moon where Gynatha is. He calls for her. "Jenny?"
 
she peeks out and beyond so excited to see eachother. They help us save baby Franz so that he never died.
 
However, he had to grow up with out his parents thinking they died.
 
He takes us back to present day Eldoria and Franz sees his parents again.
 
Hydyr goes to see the child he injured. He gives him beer and his winged boots so he can fly around. Bethany is with us, and she takes a look at him.
 
She thinks she might be able to heal him. With Hydyr's help they were able to help him get feeling back in his feet.
 
Boom! They did it. Elias eventually becomes the Emporer or Eldoria and renames the college there. Franz opens a school for shitty wizards. Hydyr opens a school for defeating vampires/hunting.
 
Panfyr becomes a grower of flowers and things. She lives to be old and obscure.
