Session 59: Court Dates and Demon Princes

We are with a drow named Sydia and a human named Kree.
 
We are approaching the courts (Abriymoch).
 
Franz, Ash, Hydr and Dermish are separated and with Titivillus. the others are almost to the Diabolical Courts. The gang runs into Juran Silverleaf on a metal gondola.
 
They buy some shit. they get to the courts, and the two groups are reunited. Joe promptly tells Dermish that Jack has asked for a request to the first layer, and Dermish grants this.
 
Joe waits in line to cancel the grievance. Dermish makes everyone kneel so that they can go to the front. Panfyr is able to remember the ridiculously long claim number with a crit.
 
Joe forks over $900 gold to pay the fees. Ash gets a statue to
 
Also, Joe's egg is starting to hatch. Ash has Glum take the baby to the astral plane so it doesn't burn up here.
 
Panfyr wins some gold and is able to level up Jaran Silverleaf so that the next time we run into him, he will have better items.
 
Anyway, we get called to court. We learn that anyone who took a magic item from mammon has to make a wisdom save or lie for him.
 
We are not able to convince the courts of our arguments. Ash offers her journal up for evidence. This incriminates Dowles, and this causes him to just drop the case, and we lose.
 
Dawles gives a forged order that says the gold has to be given to Joe for Joe to distribute back to the dwarves. He says we just have to bring it to Mammon to retrieve the gold. He'll "Take care of" the lawyer.
 
WE learn that Elias is with Mammon right now.
 
We go to Mammon and serve him the forged documents. Panfyr tricks him into giving us the gold. He's super pissed about it and is going to have this whole thing appealed. In the meantime, we are going to send the gold back to the dwarves.
 
Panfyr talks Mammon into giving all this gold to us in PP. and we would need about a 200 infernal war machines.
 
Dermish offers to summon 1000 pitfiends to help. We end up signing a contract/ receipt that nobody could read, but we believe that it's good to go.
 
WE travel for a long time, but get back to the portal that leads to the foyer of Dispaters castle. The portal is not big enough to fit through one of these.
 
We talk to Titivillus and he moves the portal increasing the size. He can help us get to a floating land on layer one. We would have to go to Tiamat's tower to get to the material plane.
 
Dermish plans to use his rod on tiamat to make her help us with this whole portal situation.
 
When we get to the other side of the portal, we are on a floating island. there are a bunch of dead humans positioned about in a ritualistic way. We can tell a demon was summoned here. Dermish is able to tell it was some kind of demon prince.
 
One of the human bodies stands up like a swaying puppet. It looks at Ash and says "you must give him the dagger"
 
Dermish makes a history check to see if he can figure out which demon prince it is. He deduces necromancy was used to summon him. He rolled a 21 and htis is where we end.
