Session 62: The Red Party Heist

Randi was late AGAIN! WE are in Nastase Village
 
Joe is alive, but in bad shape
We helped Franz and Morpheus not be mind controlled by the magnuses with the candle/incense we created.
We try to convince Reifer to help us. I guess he's in love with Jezabel
 
We have 55 minutes left on the incense/candle. Hyadr learned his blood spear belonged to Kanchelsis. I guess it's pulling on him and it's very dangerous. Not much has been shared.
 
We just took a long rest and it's about 10pm
 
We are getting ready to go to the red party. Elias is taking the white invitation.
 
WE all pick famous people to dress up as, because that is the theme. We summon Mordenkainen. He teleports us about 30 minutes from the party, high up on a very snowy mountain. Hyadr sees some of the blue Galvanian Blue Sage and harvests it. We avoid an old lady in magical darkness in the cave.
 
We make our way down to Balan Village where the party is. A lady immediately greets us. She's looking for her mom. We tell her she might be the old lady in the cave. Franz summons a phantom steed for her to use for 1 hour. She's very happy about this.
 
We walk through a jovial area where the towns people are dancing and having a fun time.
 
A girl pick pockets Franz and we're like "no ya don't" She hands off the money to a guy she works for, and we chase them down. Hyadr draw his weapon and doesn't even realize he's done that. It commands him to kill the guy who is behind this whole thing.
 
He throws his weapon and Ash, in wolf form, jumps in front and takes the hit. She is able to rip the sword out of Hyadr's hand and tosses it to the side. Panfyr tries to put the speak into the bag of devouring. This causes 2 of the blood elementals that we trapped in there to come out and pick up the sword. Ash comes out of wolf form and casts Greater Restoration on Hydar. This breaks his curse from the sword, and he's no longer trying to get it. We let the elementals leave with the sword.
 
Panfyr was able to get Franz's money back and some extra in all of this. Franz found the spell books of the brides of Kanchelsis in a chest before we left that cave by the way. there are some dresses and jewels as well
 
We get to the party. Joe is a mouse in Elias's pocket as he goes to the white party....He also has Jo's red invitation. Elias goes to give him the white invitation, and the guy warns that he should not give that to anyone unless he knows who it is. And it's part of the whole hting. YOu have to figure out who you are giving it to. Elias then gives him the red invitation and lets us in.
 
Elias and Panfyr head out to the dance floor. It's pretty adorable.
 
Ash casts Locate Object and finds a girl with blue painted skin and fake elf ears and black hair and she's keeping to her self. we think she may have a white invitation.
 
Elias talks to a girl wearing a very high quality shaaran necklace. She may be suspected of collecting white cards.
 
Ash talks to the girl in blue. Her name is Lyza. Turns out she's dressed as Dustera Shadowthorn. Ash's sister. Ash gives her a book and they become friends. Lyza says she found out if you hold the invitation up to light it reveals a hidden message.
 
her's says:
 
Told her to hold her invitation up to a light. She does- The writing says,
 
---The one you seek does not shine in the light or revel in justice.
 
Ash hangs onto this poor girl, because she's really sweet and invites her to her house, and Ash feels the need to protect her.
 
Elias's imp returns this conversation to him, and Elias holds his letter up to the light and it reads:
 
---They embrace shadow. Not artsy or cosmic wonders.
 
Elias did talk to the one lady before who was super shaaran. Is it her?
 
they talk to a guy named Sir Loin. He tells them that if he did have an invitation, he would be looking for something, and maybe he would have a hint to exchange?
 
---The one who speaks little has the most to hide, he says....Is this a clue?
 
We realize there are multiple people here dressed as gods goddesses. Maybe one of them is who we need to give the white invitations too.
 
Ash goes around giving fake clues trying to lead the white invitations back to her.
 
Ash casts locate object again, and a girl in the back with a red dress has at least one white invitation. She had friends meeting her, but they aren't here yet.
 
Ash gives her a fake clue. She gets the following clue from her.
 
---You'll find them lingering in the darkest corners of the room
 
We end up tricking a lot of people into making them think that Ash was the person to give the white invitation. We get enough invitations for each of us to all go to the white party. We also talk Lyza into giving us her invitation and promise to visit her house when shes done.
 
We all decide to give the invitations to the lady dressed as Shar. She looks at us like "how the fuck did these guys get the white invitations"
 
Later a lady in a white veil walks up to each of us and whispers in our ear that we are to meet her at midnight on the back patio.
 
This is where we end.
