Session 81: Into the Underdark

Hydr is staying at the mansion to try and find the dagger.
 
The rest of us decide to go confront the blacksmith about Hydr's shitty axe.
 
We convince him that Hydyr died because of his bad work. We convinced him to let us borrow his family heirloom sword. Ash leaves a silvered scimitar for him to use as collateral in the meantime.
 
We get some sleep. while sleeping, Hazel, Franz and Elias do not get a good night's sleep. There were getting preminitions. They gave us the following names from their "dreams"
 
Desiree only listens to the purest of heart From Elias
Find the Valusor to get back From Hazel
Great ham and eggs from Franz
 
We see brill at the bar. We see Dara Tossleaf sitting at a table with her strange pet, Vark. There is a weird round piece of metal with blue stones. in the middle of the table. It has flames coming up and she' cooking the greatest ham and eggs.
 
Turns out Dara was the one who brought us here. Because the Hallow needed our help. She gives us some guidance- beneath Votour mines, A powerful Artificer/ wizard named Sagim Briskfield was held hostage for over 10 years by a hoard of underdark creatures. He was tasked with making a powerful weapon. He know the creatures were going to kill him when he was done. He was able to build a shield around the weapon he made that only allows GOOD creatures to pass through it.
 
IN the sphere, a stone called Desiree lives there and it has a wish left in it. Sagim was so good he didn't use his wish, and he hopes that someone good goes into the sphere one day to find this creature called Valusor and use it for good.
 
Somewhere in all of this Hazel realizes that Hydyr isn't dead even though it was a lie she made up...so she writes letter to the blacksmith apologizing for the lie. She also writes a letter ratting out the priest, to the mayor, BUT Elias is able to steal the letter so that it does not get delivered.
 
We finally head to the mines and run back into Ton Flatbush. He tells us that when the mine caved in, there were some minors trapped, one being his son. We offer to help free him. We accidentally spill the beans that Helga is dead. HE tells us that if we tell the others that Helga is dead, they will not work the mines cuz they've been working from Krackle from Helga. If they know she's dead, they may not help clear the mine.
 
Elias is able to use a magical ring to start moving boulders easily. We discovered that the cave in was probably planned an on purpose some how.
 
Ton's son is missing. We learn he took off to try and find another way out. It was yesterday that he took off. We fight some hook horrors while investigating.
 
We make it to the Underdark.
 
We travel along some bodies of water. We see an island a bit out. There are shimmering fish creatures in the water.
 
There is a hut on the beach. Chetn knocks on the door of the hut. there is no answer. Hazel opens the door and gets shot by an arrow immediately.
 
There is a large goblinoid looking creature, and this is where we end.
