There are many great warriors, soldiers, heroes and explorers throughout Violem. But the greatest, strongest and most skilled are almost always from Yroh Wood, the city of warriors.
Located on the Northern edge of the Great Forest, guarding the perimeter from terrifying creatures and monsters of darkness that lurk within. The city is masterpiece of solid stone walls showered in wards and defense sigils, secretly trapped streets and home to the most imposing fort in all of Cytal. And it needs to be, to train all that arrive hoping to take on the challenge of defending the lands. Whether from the Necromancers and shadow organizations to the beasts of the forest constantly venturing too close for comfort.
With Yroh Wood being in the centre of a dangerous land, it needs to protect itself. Which is why it is a hub for anyone who wishes to learn the way of weapons, defensive and offensive magic or the skills needed to survive the wilds. Groups like The Forest Guardians; who dedicate their lives to taming the nearby trees, Heracules; Heroes devoted to fighitng evil, and even newer clans like the Alliance Guard all reside within the walls of the city.
Split into three distinct districts, the city caters to anyone who wishes to live in the safety of the city. The inner city is known for being the safest section and home to the city's leader Rak-Mo-Dru. The training grounds is home to all of the various training courts, battle arenas and atheletic courses to better improve a warriors strength. And the frontline, with only the outer wall standing between the citizens and the wild, this district is home of weary travellers, armoured soldiers and guardians looking for a fight.
If one was to enter the city, they would be drawn to the structures built of blood, sweat and tears. Things such as the Warriors Arena, Sword & Shield. A place where no magic is allowed for beings to show their true strength without the aid of magic. Golem's Row, homeplace of the popular dice game The Golem Game. Even on the outer edges of the city, you will be able to see the Perimeter, a line of watchtowers, camps and barriers separating the Great Forest from the rest of the continent.
