Birohhal
In a time of exploration, new discoveries and the widening of knowledge in nearly every aspect imaginable came a beacon for learning in the form of Birohhal. The city of Wisdom. Here one can find themselves lost in countless books, journals and reading from the past. Lay eyes upon relics and artefacts of importance throughout Cytal and give birth to new ideas and inventions in the countless workshops filled with experts in a variety of crafts.
With a wide variety of knowledge and skills to attain within the city, many guilds, groups and like minded beings have journeyed to Birohhal and made it their home. One of the most well known today is The Ivory Champions who protect the city from thw threats of wild beassts and monsters. In the past, it was home to the Realm Rangers, explorers and adventurers who ventured throughout the realms to learn the secrets they held. And of course there is the scholars and professors who study inside the University in all forms of magic, from Illusion and Divination to strengthening the bond between Alum and the natural elements.
it is also said to be on the grounds of an old town that was the birthplace of the Acruan of Waystones, Apatur. Errecting a statue in the centre of the city to honour his breakthrough in portal magic and kickstarting an entire era of exploration and expansion of knowledge. To this day, the original waystone he used to travel to another realm is kept inside a fortified church on the outskirts of the city. A wonderful sight that radiates power.
But with knowledge also comes threat of those who wish to use for their own selfish reasons, leading to many theives, Necromancers and relic hunters to sneak around the city in the dark of night. Hoping to find treasures or artefacts which give great power. It is rumoured that somewhere under the city is the Staff of Tennant, The Acuran Hero but this has never been confirmed.
Whilst being one of the older cities of Cytal, the leadership is more modern in nature. Allowing a mayor, Mayor Duella to be precise, to watch over the city of wisdom and keep it sustained in the new age of peace.
