The Miradell Mountains (Meer-Ah-Dell)
The vast and expansive range of the Miradell Mountains are split by the great river valley of the Bluevein. Tall, swindswept and snow peaks dominate the landscape all around, and separate The Wild Coast from Daskar to the west and Tillain to the south. These rocky crags and valleys are home to a great many creatures, but most importantly this is the place that the Gigantes clans call their home. In the Western Miradell, the Gigantes are most populous, and a great many clans call this place their home. Here too lies Gruun, the meeting place of the western clans. In the Southern Miradell, the clans have the greatest contact with the humans of Daskar and Tillain, and though there have been clashes, so to have some Gigantes gone to serve as warriors, bodyguards and even occasionally as part of the legendary Great Cohort, a group within The Iron Legion composed entirely of Gigantes. In the Eastern Miradell, the Gigantes clans have come into conflict with human settlers and Erktuus tribes, and have become xenophobic and territorial, and a great danger to any who enter their lands. The mountains as a whole are also home to many True Giants, spirits, and even the occasional dragon. Only the brave or the foolhardy dare tread these slopes.
