Bereton (Berr-Ett-Unn)
East of Northport lies Bereton, the largest farming settlement in the area. It boasts a large central market where many of the surrounding farmers come to trade for goods and necessities, as well a small but sturdy wooden wall to protect it from occasional raids by Erktuus bands. It is governed by a town council comprised of the leading figures of the area. One of the main structures in the town is the Silver Tap Inn, owned by proprietor and former adventurer Alexa Languardia, who made her fortune exploring the ruins of the Wild Coast and settled in Bereton to retire. Across the river lay the ruins of some ancient settlement, though the locals consider it both cursed and haunted, and rarely if ever venture across the river.
