Northport (North-Port)
The aptly named Northport is the northernmost settlement directly controlled by The High Kingdom of Tillain. It is a burgeoning coastal trading center, a hub for goods being brought in from all across The Wild Coast, as well as a starting point for settlers and adventurers looking to venture deeper into the territories. The town is ruled by a Stadtholder Balik Idrian, but is also influenced heavily by the powerful Gold Seal Financiers, a group of rich and well connected bankers and moneylenders. The town also has a small but growing underbelly, as more wealth flowing into the town brings new opportunities for those of loose morals. Smugglers and pirate from the Lawless Isles are known to frequent the docks area, much to the chagrin of the local Town Watch.
