The Great Dale
The Great Dale houses a collection of settlements along the Bluevein, the great river reaching south from The Land of Ice and Shadow to the Bay of Gulls. Once this area was the initial place for settlers from Tillain, but after the civil war it has almost completely fallen out of the direct influence of the High Kingdom. Left to its own devices, the region has developed a fierce streak of independence. The most prominent and populous settlements here are the towns of Kingslake, Oldwayne and Kelark. The Wild Folk inhabited these lands for thousands of years, and they share the land in an uneasy truce with the human settlers.
