WorldEmber 2021 Pledge

Here we go! Last year was the first time I participated in WorldEmber in an attempt to organize my worldbuilding (my world used to be scattered among word documents, notes on my phone, random drawings and doodles, and likely lost notes), and I succeeded in writing 10K! This year, like last year, I realized a little late it is already almost December! And in contrast to last year when Covid resulted in me having to indefinitely pause my studies, and thus plenty of time to write, this year I'm studying full-time once more. So, here some hasty planning and prepping and hopefully I manage once more to write 10K!

Goals

Alreia

This summer, during Summer Camp, I ended up writing a lot about Alreian culture without describing the country as a whole. So, one of my goals is to take a step back from the details and work a little on the country itself and it's religion. To prepare for this, I will go through the old articles, take notes and edit them if need be.

Geographical locations

I have been wanting to write about some geographical locations for a while now. I feel like if I have the locations fleshed out a little more, it will be easier to write about the people and creatures inhabiting them.
This also includes settlements. Lately, three different ideas have been bobbing about in my head, and I think that is a reasonable number of settlements to write about.

Random inspiration

When inspiration hits, I might also write about some other things, like scholastic wayfarers for instance, an ancient profession which laid the basis for our realm guide, O. M. Nisent. Speaking about Ordall, I would like to give them their own page and add a quote to all articles.

Prompts

As per the homework of preparation session 2, here some prompts gathered from different sources (such as mapvember2021, summer camp 2020 and the official WorldAnvil prompts) that caught my attention. I might end up not doing all of them. We will see.
