Unofficial Art Challenge

Art is not only about that what we find beautiful. It can become so much more and give an insight in the mindset of the time.

The Unofficial Flash Challenge will take place during March and will cover a famous piece of art in your world. Everyone that wants to participate can submit an article about a famous piece of art in their world. This can be paintings, statues, literature, architecture or any other piece of culture that can be considered art.
These articles can be submitted by adding a comment with the article on this page or by putting it on the Niorath discord. This Flash Challenge is judged by Kefkejaco who will not participate.
Submissions will run from March 1 to April 17 2022.
After all the pieces have been judged, an article will be made declaring the winners. I will choose a premier and non-premier league winner. Depending on how many participants there are I could also choose a most creative for each of the leagues.

What you need to know

Rules

1. Only one article is allowed per author.
2. Your article needs to be between 200 and 2000 words (BBCode does not count towards your word count).
3. The article must be new , published and public in order to be judged.
4. If your article contains themes people may find disturbing, please add a content warning to your submission.
5. Your article needs to be submitted before March 31, 2022 at 23:00 GMT +1

Criteria

If your article is valid it will be judged based on the following criteria.

• Presentation: Is the article easy to read an well structured (no wall of text)
• Worldbuilding Concept: How much thought has been put in the concept of the article. Is it detailed, is it believable in your world?
• Creativity: Is it an interesting and original idea?
