The Lordanian Revolution begins to end
Revolution
By 2280, the Lordanian Revolution was starting to come to a close. Every planet in the Lordanian Cluster had experienced some form of upheaval or revolution. The Unitarian forces on Nouveaulyon have surrendered to The Brotherhood, and Cinu has few Unitarian forces left. The remnants of the People's Republic of Lordania hold on to whatever they have, and defend it with violence and force in most cases, however, there are some notable exceptions.
Lordania
A large part of
New Ares has been destroyed. The head of the government has been cut off, and the surviving political figures convene in
Waterpool. Lordania focuses its efforts on the disaster in New Ares. The planet's political influence over the region has been completely nulled. Martial Law has been declared in all cities, save
Mallane, but there are very few soldiers still following the orders of the remnant PRL forces. Many have collapsed into small bands of warlords occupying various urban centers.
Kingston
Numerous insurrections on the planet have crippled
Kingston, which has been engaged in widespread civil war since '77. Unitarian forces are in control of
New Havana and
Thalis, but have lost control over much of Garash and
Hulltown. The numerous factions that make up the Kingston Resistance are beginning to transition into governments and the modern nation states of Kingston. The
Kingston People's Front, the largest resistance force on the planet, has established the temporary
War Council of Kingston, backed by the much larger Brotherhood forces.
Tyannani
Tyannani remains a Unitarian stronghold, but the Brotherhood have taken a special interest in liberating the planet. Fighting across
Operstone City has led to a small Brotherhood advantage, but the Unitarians are dug in and prepared for a long seige.
Nouveaulyon
Nouveaulyon has been completely occupied by Brotherhood forces, with Unitarian forces surrendering in the face of a much larger and more prepared force. With Nouveaulyon under Brotherhood occupation, it has become their base of operations.
Yuklid
Yuklid V was a Unitarian stronghold throughout much of the Revolution. Following the collapse of the People's Republic, it has been placed under military blockade by the Brotherhood, who are demanding the arrest and detention of the former Unitarian leadership. The Yuklid government remains resistant to Brotherhood demands, but is committed to non-violent tactics.
Lorriman
The Institute remains in a precarious situation. Its former director,
Dr. Gauss has been accused of numerous crimes against humanity. While she was a member of the
Vidento Eight, much of her involvement in the revolution has yet to be revealed to the wider world. The Institute remains mostly leaderless and directionless, and hope to stay in their hole until it all ends.
Cinu
Cinu has been engaged in the revolution since the beginning.
Al-Mular is in the hands of the Cinu Unitarian Remnants, led by
Çetin Üllasuli. Much of the planet is in the hands of the
Majlis Alhuriya, who are preparing to siege the capital.
Indus
The
Indus Shipyards were once considered the priority of the Lordanian Navy, but sustained attacks by the Brotherhood have left the Shipyards heavily damaged, but under control of the Resistance.
Visser
Visser has seen many battles between the Brotherhood and Unitarian forces. Its local government has completely collapsed, with a lawless anarchy taking its place. However, many on the planet are starting to warm to the idea, believing this to be the most perfect time to completely reform society.
Tersten
The
Tersten Government-in-Exile have fought long and hard to secure
Tersten. Much of the planet lies in rebel hands, with the last few Unitarian holdouts being isolated across the planet.
