Dr. Avarona Gauss

Dr. Ava Gauss was the former Director of The Institute from 2263-2280. During her tenure as leader, she assisted the People's Republic of Lordania in accomplishing many scientific feats at the expense of ethical considerations.
Gauss was born on Lorriman in 2225 to an influential family of Lordanians that helped to colonise the planet the same year. As part of the original colonial family, she helped to influence the Institute's civilian administration.
In 2254, she was introduced to the People's Republic of Lordania, and became a member of the Unitarian Party along with many other influential Lorrimanians. Under the PRL, they were able to unify the Institute into a technocracy, with Gauss at its head. During the Lordanian Revolution, Gauss was overthrown as leader of the Institute, and fled with her allies into uncharted space.
Despite being revealed to have been part of the Vidento Eight, a conspiracy that helped bring down the PRL, she was still declared a traitor-in-abstention. Her current whereabouts are unknown, but there remains a sizeable bounty for her capture and return to Confederate Systems of Lordania space.
