The Original Sin

Constructed by the Redwatch with approval by the VSF, The Dread Gate was constructed to allow entry into the RedZone.

The VSF decreed Parsalis to be under the protection and ownership of the Redwatch, who in addition to guarding the galaxy from demons would also become wardens of Parsalis and guard those imprisoned on the planet.

After not hearing from the capital of the planet floor, Lumenarrian scouts went down to Marzansin to check in. All they found was a ghost town.

On the outer reaches of the galaxy a foreign spaceship breached our galaxy. As the closest force to this breach Jack Sun, ruler of Zakatash traveled out to meet them as they landed on the planet. Nobody knows what happened exactly but Jack Sun assured the galaxy that it was dealt with.

As a consequence to the fall of the Citalian Monarchy and the direct takeover by Citalian corporations their wealth and operations expanded. Citalia, the first Corporatocracy, began expanding control and dominion over their investments and assets. These include Azura and Falias which were absorbed under the jurisdiction of Citalia via contracts of a mutually beneficial nature. As such Citalia once more skyrocketed back into the wealthiest of all planets with control of Azuran research and Falian food supply.

With greater advances in technology and more resources and funds to do it, the Citalian Board created a 2nd and 3rd ring around the planet. While the first was dedicated to industry and creation jobs the 2nd became suburbs and living spaces for Citalian citizens whose population had boomed during the Citalian Back Boom. The 3rd became a military training and deployment ground as well as headquarters for their military. It is also the customs ring for those traveling between planets.

Rashuldvian mystics, in an effort to reactivate their latent werewolf genetics, studied and applied the teachings of the Dread Puppet to enhance their warriors. It was successful but unstable and resulted in a berserker werewolf unit that laid waste to an entire battlefield of Rashuldvians and Citalians alike.

To finalize the devastation of their obvious victory against the stubborn yet admirable Rashuldvians, Citalia began exterminating Rashuldvian cities. Ground forces named Death Dealers were equipped with the latest weapons and cybernetics began going town to town and killing all who resisted. The attacks radicalized the Rashuldvians who began to implement gorilla tactics both on the ground and in space but never reached the same level of offense that they mustered during the Assault on the Rings. Many historians view that battle as the end of the war despite it continuing for 21 years more.

As Citalia maintained its death grip on Rashuldvia they began to scale back their military spending. As such they no longer had need of the privateers they enlisted during the war. Each pirate family was given a choice, severance pay and a clean slate or to continue being pirates on the down-low with no interference from Citalian forces in exchange for testing experimental cybernetic enhancements. Many chose these between these options but a small minority refused both options, not wishing to lose the power Citalia had given them yet not wanting to be a guinea pig to their scientists. These pirates had grown to despise the actions ordered by Citalian commanders during the war and were haunted by the atrocities they committed. As retaliation these pirates formed The Black Sin, a reminder of Citalian horror during the war.

Hired by an individual known as Dr. Rijer Chase hired a group of ne'er do wells consisting of Bor Borson, Danse, Kai, Pyeek, Tibs, and Tyse. They were tasked with breaking into the throne room of Nazkul the polar bear, ruler of Zakatash and Galactic Council member. It was reported that while the group did this for coin the goal of their heist was to liberate a prisoner in the dungeons of Ice Watch.   After fighting their way out presumably with loot in hand they escaped into space where they were at the mercy of Redwatch who could now act as they left Zakatash space (as per the Zakatash Accords). Redwatch officers reported a massive explosion and when they searched the ship there were no passengers aboard. Further investigation by officers discovered the body of Kai in the lower R&D division of Ice Watch. He was taken back to Redwatch station for medical repairs and potential interrogation.

In the aftermath of Waltors Crescendo it was revealed that over the years he had replaced individuals in key ruling positions to give himself influence over galactic politics. Out of all the powerful organizations in the galaxy it was revealed the Hunters Guild was the most corrupt. Grunn Grundar had been working for Waltor from the start and had allowed the Hunters Guild members to be taken during the second disappearance and possessed by demons.    As a consequence for his actions he, along with anyone else discovered to be working for Waltor, was imprisoned and the Hunters Guild banished from the galaxy, never to hold power again.

With the death of Lord Michael Ordaanto and his unfortunate revelation as a vampire, Beatrice Ordaanto took over their ancestral noble home. Still grief stricken over both her sons death and his unfortunate curse she managed to guide Du-Saang into the public spotlight. Largely untouched by the events of Waltors Crescendo the city became a haven for Temperran citizens displaced by the destruction of their home.

With permission from the Galactic Council Abzurzal Skullhammer purchased a space station formerly known as Outpost 18 from Redwatch. From there he Founded the Sanguine Venatores, an order of blood hunters dedicated to what the Hunters Guild was originally about. Slaying monsters and beasts that threaten lives.

Before seeking out Lilith after their vacation, Lewis had a vision from the Future Room. In the vision he saw the galaxy and wrapping around the planets, encompassing each of them individually, were large black morpho butterflies.   While in Carcossa, home realm of The Seekers that lies between dimensions, Star-Quest encountered Bird, a Citalian born man seeking to topple the Corporatocracy. He had been tricked and manipulated into seemingly working for this shadowy crime syndicate and retrieving a purple flame. Luckily Serena saw this and directed Liliths attention. Lilith followed and interrupted the hand off. This purple flame that had been taken by Lilith in Waltors palace bonded with her sword and she killed both the Talking Goldfish and Reinheart, longstanding minor enemies of Star-Quest.   When they returned back to the Jaxxian Galaxy they had the strong suspicion that something greater was at play.
