The Children of the Demon have only one sinister goal, to open the RedZone and free their god Urolog out to reign over the galaxy.
History
This groups true origins are detailed within The Tome of Darkness along with the initiation ritual to pledge oneself to Urolog known as The Sacrament. Even then the knowledge of the groups true origins are unknown to anyone outside the group since it is rumored that even looking at the pages of such an evil tome corrupts one soul to the darkness of Urolog. The first reported instance of these occult practices took place in the time before the Age of Exploration when Voxian Crusaders investigated disappearances of priests discovering that they were being sacrificed for the Sacrament. Since then incidences involving the Children of the Demon are scattered and have been pushed to the back of peoples minds.
Mythology & Lore
In the Tome of Darkness there is the history of Urolog and his conquest to rule and bring peace through death to the galaxy. His goal was to reduce everything to nothing and control the remaining people through possession. His most loyal followers would become rulers and kings of their own territories and granted the powers only a demon prince can enjoy. It is also shown within the Tome the story of a Child of the Demon member named Ossar'Kan who followed and aided Urolog in his early conquests. His loyalty was rewarded and Urolog gifted him the form of a demon prince. This is what all members of the Children of the Demon strive for.
Divine Origins
It is believed to have originated in the centuries before the Age of Exploration. The source of this inspiration comes from The Tome of Darkness which is believed to have been written by Urologs faithful demon princes. Within The Tome of Darkness contains dark rituals and other dark magics but the one of interest here is called The Sacrament, a ritual that brands one as an Urolog faithful. This opens oneself to be a demonic vessel and thus be able to visit Urolog and work with him in the realms of mortals. This is however a rare occurrence and those who receive this blessing are highly regarded within the cult.
Tenets of Faith
Urolog is the true leader of this world, all others are pretenders.
It is our duty and joy to serve the great demon king for he is the ultimate judge of our worth.
In death, should we have served our master well, we will go to his side in the RedZone and serve as a demon in his army.
Ethics
In this religion the only thing that could be considered a sin is straying from the goals of Urolog as such you would be marked as unfaithful. If marked as unfaithful it is likely that you would be imprisoned and then sacrificed during the next Sacrament.
Worship
One worships Urolog by preparing their minds and bodies for demonic possession so that Urolog may carry out his plans through them.
Priesthood
Children of the Demon have no hierarchal structure as a normal religion would being as they are all united in a similar cause. Though members chosen as vessels for demons are regarded in high opinion.
Granted Divine Powers
It is rumored that upon joining the cult, members are stronger and have a minor control over flames. However, the greatest divine power that can be blessed upon members is demonic possession. This is a high honor for those who receive this power since 1) They can now travel in and out of The RedZone and 2) This is the only way a demon can effect the galaxy outside The RedZone and so now they can help aid Urologs plans.
