Assets

Upon joining the Galactic Council you do so with the understanding that the resources of your planet become those of the group and can be used in any Council projects.

History

After the invasion from beyond the known reaches of the Jaxxian Galaxy in 74 GA the leaders of the planets decided that no longer could they only be responsible for their own planets. If they remained separate then they will fall separately. In 75 GA a meeting called by Voxia leadership brought the leaders of 5 planets, Citalia, Salavaria, Vernos, Zakatash and of course Voxia, to the city of Venenzia. Here they all agreed to work together and became the first Galactic Council.     Over the years membership of the Galactic Council has changed to include new planets wishing to join the wider galactic community. Others have left the council due to preference or tragedy. The molefolk of Vernos once held a seat on the council before their people were all killed during the Vernosian Extinction.   In 341 GA after the Ma'atra Skirmish the The Hive of T'Salizar would accept a seat on the council as reparations for Citalia's trespasses. Despite the acceptance of this seat The Hive would not send an ambassador until many years later. Chak'taka's arrival was a milestone for relations with the Thri-Kreen as it was the first documented case of Thri-Kreen leaving T'Salizar and marked the official acceptance of T'Salizar into the greater galactic community. It wouldn't be until 1222 AH that their representative Kat'chka would relay the message on behalf of Queen Trak'Vulak that T'Salizar would be leaving this community and shuttering their planet doors forever.   In 1190 EW Brune was officially invited into the Galactic Council after a quick petition upon awakening.   Planets that are not part of the galactic council either object to integration within the galactic community or have a preexisting restriction to entry. Azura is a city state of Citalia and Falias is a vassal under control of Brune after purchasing it from Citalia during the Citalian-Rashuldvian War. Barunshun remains hostile to any outsiders and Rashuldvia usually has reservations about being a part of anything that Citalia is. However as of 1222 AH in the aftermath of the Demon Wars Empress Corinthea, ruler of Rashuldvia, made clear her ambition to gain an association with the Galactic Council via the help of Lilith Kasdeya, who at the time of making this deal was in the process of taking the Frigid Throne of Zakatash and claiming the right of Yolmanga as is her birthright. This follows years of anit-unification sentiment from Rashuldvia who long held the belief that their strength would be poisoned by cooperation with weaker planets.   The Redwatch on the other hand hold dominion over Parsalis and refuse to take part in galactic politics and remain steadfast in their job as wardens of Parsalis and the RedZone.   In the aftermath of the Demon Wars of 1221 AW it was revealed that most council members had been replaced with shape shifters or killed. As a result most of the Galactic Council was dismissed and leaders reelected to fill the seats. Current full membership includes Brune: High Mind Zune. Citalia: King Kewartotle who has been given temporary power from King Mormond who wished to step back from ruling for an unknown amount of time. Salavaria: Head Steward Bugsy Canar representing the interests of the Library of Lumenarres and the planet floor after the dismissal of the Hunters Guild. T'Salizar: Kat'chka, though currently in talks of leaving the council. Vernos: Overseer Rjordash. Voxia: Lelianna Kasdeya. Zakatash: Lilith Kasdey   When seats are not in a state of destabilization the Galactic Council meets on a monthly basis in a random and undisclosed location to ensure the safety of council members.
