ser Tiffally Strong
Early Life
Tiffally was born in 398KS to ser Billon Strong and ser Ayara Strong-Orme, a pair of hedge knights living at the time in The City of Bayglen and serving House Somercrag of Bayglen. She had one sibling, Curtass Strong, born two years prior. She began squiring to her father at a young age, and through him became well known to the Somercrags, especially King Samuel Somercrag.
Knighthood
By the time she earned her knighthood ser Tiffally had already gained the attention of the king herself, and she was knighted by him personally in a ceremony on the steps of Bayglen Castle in the autumn of 419KS.Late the following year, her father was one of several nobles to go missing during A Grand Hunt in Redwatch.
Ser Tiffally spent much of the following decade and a half focussed on the Tourney circuit. She only stopped in 432KS when, during a tourney at Lowall, she took a fall from the saddle and was trampled, resulting in the loss of her left arm below the elbow. Although she had been less close with the Somercrags than her brother, who had become the Royal Tourney Master by this time, both his and their late father's relationships with the royal household ensured she was always comfortable in the capital, and so while recovering from her injury she also took the opportunity to have a child, a daughter named Laoren, born in 434KS.
The Irogonie Aggression
When the armies of The Kingdom of Somercrag mobilised beyond The Witwell Mountains to oppose The Irogonie Aggression, ser Tiffally was amongst the numerous hedge knights who took up arms in the service of the nation's houses. At the request of ser Sola Somercrag, the crown princess, ser Tiffally took up the colours of House Tallman of Summerswind, and led their outriders in lightning raids in support of the other armies of The Blackbar Duchy.Although she was offered a position at Summerswind when the war ended, the war had reinvigorated her taste for combat, and she refused, returning instead to the life of a Hedge Knight, though she never returned to the lists.
Greater Stallken
In the autumn of 443KS Tylan Hewlett, a former smuggler, was raided to the Lordship over Greater Stallken, or Caulstid as it had been known. As part of the arrangements to support this new position, the royal Chancellor Lady Laycie Sawler's own daughter had been married to the new Lord Hewlett, and so she had negotiated for Curtass and ser Tiffally to escort her daughter to the new territory and take up positions in the court there, Curtass to use his experience as the Chancellor there, and ser Tiffally to take up the role of Marshal of the holding's modest complement of Men-at-Arms.When Laoren was old enough, in 444KS ser Tiffally took her to Squire, and by the end of 453KS had knighted her. Her daughter then Swore Her Sword to the defence of Lord Tylan Hewlett.
