Early Life
Nalia was born in 418KS, the result of a brief rlationship between Laycie Sawler and an unknown person in The City of Bayglen. She was the second such child born to Laycie, her brother Jaron being one year older.Like her mother before her she grew up in and around Bayglen Castle, serving as a Handmaid to Queen Malina Somercrag for several years. Her mother's growing importance in the royal household throughout her childhood meant that she was afforded an education second only to the princes themselves and, like her brother, she soon became an Agent of her mother's Network in the capital.
House Hewlett of Caulstid Greater Stallken
In August 443KS Nalia was dispatched from Bayglen to travel to Caulstid to be wed to Lord Tylan Hewlett. This marriage was arranged by the Royal Council as a method of control over the new house in Caulstid following an arrangement made by Tylan to betray the bandits there in exchange for becoming a landed Lord in the The Kingdom of Somercrag.Although she initially viewed the match with distaste, approaching it as the latest assignment from her mother rather than anything more romantic or idealistic, over the years that she has spent as the Lady of Greater Stallken she has softened toward the former smuggler, just as her own influence has led to him becoming more upright and honest.
In 449KS the couple welcomed their first child, Maryellen. In the following years she was followed by another girl, Sola, and a boy, Rickar.
Since the departure of Lady Ophelia Buckhaill to High Hill alongside ser Allon Stormborn, Lady Nalia has been serving as Chancellor of The Southbay Duchy, a role at which she inherits her mother's natural talent.
